Subscribing! I'm planning our first trip for the end of May/early June for my daughter's 5th burthday. Hope we can get a good discount!
my2littlebuckeyes said:Are the grad nights at all the Parks or just Magic Kingdom? I looked at the scheule and it seems like it is just 2 hours on the 28th and 29th...closes at 7pm, Epcot is open till 9:30 or something those days..so I am just planning on going there for that evening.
On Grad nights which I believe are April 28th and 29th and May 5th and 6th this year, MK closes at 6pm and they have the grad party until the wee hours. Since we plan to be there Saturday to following Sunday, that week is out since MK would be closing down at 6pm for 3 nights of our stay. Could definitely work around it but we have flexibility so ...my2littlebuckeyes said:Won't they have the spectromagic on the other nights? We are there for 8 or 9 nights..I figure we will spend at least 3 or 4 of the nights at Magic Kingdom, is that not going to be enough? I haven't been to Disney since I was a kid almost 20 years ago, so I really don't know what will be the best things to do and when yet. Any input is much appreciated.
On another note, I called in today and the girl I spoke to seemed very confident that there would be an AP discount for the end of April and May. Her point was March and Begining of April is peak season and they have an AP discount for that and that End of April/May is value season, thus logic dictates an AP discount coming for that time of the year. The Animal Kingdom for an 9 night stay at begining of April was about $2200 room only for Savanah View, with AP discount...normally runs $3300 I guess...so in this case the AP discount is pretty big!
JESW said:I finally called yesterday (1/30) after waiting for codes for our visit 4/18 - 25. I know that it is right around Easter and I started to think that Disney wouldn't be having any codes. We wanted CR 14th floor but there was only one room left with a king bed and there are 4 of us. So we will be trying one of the wings for the first 3 nights. The last 4 nights I did manage to get YC concierge garden view. No codes so $$$$$!![]()
If by any chance they do get codes out I can still apply them to our reservations. I also made reservations for august and will apply codes if they come out for then. AND we may go in December for a couple of nights to do the holidays around EPCOT so I may book for then soon too - airfare is also good for that time if I buy NOW.
Only had to put one night deposit for each resort - the rest payable at check-in. I am still HOPING for some codes!!!

I know it is somehere buried deep in this thread. But it may be easier to find that on allearsnet.com rather than sifting through the thread.AdventurerKat said:This is probably in this thread somewhere but does anyone remember about when the codes came out for last year for May?
Sorry, I am at work and too lazy to dig through... I know, go ahead and![]()
I'm finally catching on to what you're all talking about re making "room-only" ressies and how you can save. I also see where it's possible depending on discounts that if you're going for just a week (once in the year) you may actually save by buying one AP pass, making room-only res w/AP discount and buying tix separately for your family versus buying a room + tix package.jjohnson said:Just AP & it was 100 off deluxe & 40 off mod. I think 20 off value.

Question: When you say "100 off deluxe.." are you saying that the AP rate was 100 off per night? If so, WOW!Now I understand the anticipation.
