I've been on the phone with CRO 3X this morning trying to straighten out a problem with my deposit. They've been having problems with the system all morning. So I jokingly suggested it's because there loading the new AP rates.Henry says"you never know!" Don't tease me! :teeth:

I am on the phone trying to change our March reservations and the CM actually called me back from this morning and they updated their system........:)

Just called (even though i changed my trip to Oct.) No discounts past 4/13 yet.But interestingly enough, the automated system asked me all kinds of info before i got the live operator. They wanted to know how many times ive been in the past 4 years, my area code....is this normall? ive never experienced it before, but i did get WDTC this time instead of CRO.Maybe its a WDTC thing?

Hi,

I have monitored this site for awhile and finally decided to join. You guys are the think tanks of Disney planning, thank you for your knowledge. My question i have which i am sure is redundant is how do i get a pin code, i have been to the world 10 times, but i have never gotten any special rate program. I have even called today to see if i had anything associated with my name, NOTHING! BLAH. Any reasoning, do i have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to get a code?

Yep, they ask me everytime I call. But what is the difference between WDTC and CRO? I use the 800 number. Is that the only difference?

Hi-- I think the only way to get a pin code is to be lucky :-). Make sure they have your e-mail address, and request any kind of information that they have on the website, so that your e-mail is everywhere.

It may be area, or it may be luck of the draw. I've also been to Disney a ton of times, and I too have NEVER had a pin code!! I even had a couple year drought since joining DVC, and thought that may bring on a pin code-- NOPE!!!

I have not become one of the privileged ones :guilty:

(I think it's kind of like getting tagged here on the DIS :rotfl: )

:scratchin I'm a double-dippin' loser?????

;) Guess I'm in good company

CCOOMMEEOONNNNNNnnn...AP code....baby needs a new pair of shoes! :yay:

All this teasing of codes coming out today has me in a tizzy. :surfweb: I want a deep AP discount on the CR for the first week of May sooo bad.

I am planning a trip for Apr23 to May1st...first time there since I was a kid in the 80's...I am taking my 2 little buckeyes (ages 3 and 1). I am considering this Annual Pass thing with the discount....does anyone know about how much the room rate would be at Coronado if there were a discount?

I priced it out and the average price I came up with was $195 per night for just the room doing a regular package through Disney.

Anyone use the Dining Plan? Good Value or not? It worked out to be $86 per day.

I learned quite a bit so far, thanks to all....

I didn't say which Monday people :rotfl2: !!! :stir: Just hoping for a little good luck!! Anyway checked out some other sites and they say usually the period for April 27th though May 28th give or take usually comes out around late February to early March!!! Check out mousesavers.com or Allears.net one of them had a listing as to when the codes usually post for what period. I don't think it helps that Easter is April 16th this year when some years is in March so that has to throw off the dates as well. Trust me we are going to Wilderness lodge April 23rd through April 30th and want the best rate possible, we have booked and travel agent will rebook if we get a better deal. Good luck all!!! :thumbsup2

$195 a night is high for the Coranado. I got a waterview room there with a AAA rate totaling $660 for 4 nights. That is with Tax. If you have AAA you can get your room a little cheaper. If an AP discount is released, you may be able to get a room for about $85-$130 per night. If you want a package, wait a few days and see if one is released, or call AAA and get the price for a discounted package.
Your 1 year old will be free in the parks, and free to eat at the buffets. If you get the dining for your 3 year old you could split the food with your 1 year old. I think the dining is a value if you plan to do allot of dinners. We always do chef Mickeys, O'hanna's to name a few. So I think it really is worth it. But when my kids were really small, we didn't do the dining plan. IT was just too hard to stay on schedule.

I would recomend getting a good room rate. Then just dine at your leisure. The litte ones may not be up to dinner out every night. I always recomend Chef Mickeys, because the kids get to see Mickey & Minnie and it takes the pressure off of standing in line to see them.

Just got word from hubby that our vacation 4 8 to 4 13 may be a no go....Farming season may have to take precidence over vacation. How much drama is involved in changing dates???

Just bumping b/c I'd like to know the answer to the above question as well.

Is there a certain number you call to get the AP rate when it comes out?

I also thought I read somewhere that there was some time window during the day to call (2-7 or 2-5 or something) for APers. Am I misremembering?

Thanks,
Ruth

No special number is necessary just tell them that you are an Annual Pass holder and ask if the AP rates are out for that time. I never heard of a time window to call.
Also, be awarethat they may in fact ask to see your Annual Pass when you check in (if you got an AP rate on your room).
