I injured my back last Friday - so I haven't been able to exercise and add to my numbers at all this week. Hope to change that with a trip to the gym tomorrow. I think I will try out the aquaaerobics - less impact.

LuLuO - how do you like those Bab Harper dvds? I was thinking of ordering some.

Great job, LuLu!!

Lara - Feel better! I hope you find that the wateraerobics is satisfying and not painful.

I went to the gym this morning to bike while Howard (DH) took his class, bringing me to 1405 minutes. I was going to do the elliptical since the calorie burn is 2x as much, but my hip was protesting all the workouts this week, so I enjoyed a leisurely hour on the recumbent bike with a book on my ipad and the "NEWSIES" Broadway soundtrack blasting in my ears. Happiness. :goodvibes :cloud9:

Got in 90 minutes this morning! 30 on wt machines and 60 cardio.
695/1400

We are leaving at 6AM tomorrow for Virginia and I'll try to get at least some cardio in while there. Then, while we're at Disney, I don't think cardio will be a problem!:rotfl:

Have a great week everybody!:wave2: I'll check in when we get back on the 29th. Don't think I'll make my goal, but I'm happy with what I've done so far. Thanks for all the encouragement! It's fun to share the journey!!::yes::

Fighting a headache today. Kind of in a bad mood right now! UGH! I need to get out my frustrations later!

I really like Bob Harper. I'm not a Biggest Loser watcher, but I knew of him. I like his style of instruction. The DVDs I have are a good workout: Yoga for the Warrior and Totally Ripped Core. The yoga workout had me sweating buckets.

I am at 1153/1600.

includes running, elliptical, piyo, strength training and some treadmill.

Thanks Cam!:goodvibes

It is not easy, but I keep reminding myself that every bite I take is a chance to get it right, and I only need to handle one good decision at a time.

I tell myself "if I can resist this right now, then that's a good thing." And I keep making that commitment every time there is a temptation. So, instead of feeling like I'll never get to eat "that", it's just "I can resist that right now."

Somehow, it is easier for me to handle only one challenging situation at a time. Others talk about making a lifetime change, but I need to handle it a moment or a temptation at a time or I start feeling overwhelmed and hopeless and a little bit despairing. Does that make sense?

I love this!! Very true, and very inspriational!

:wave2: Hi cc! Welcome, minniebeth! :flower3:

Thanks so much! My DS and I are doing the EEC! I can't wait!

I have to add:
4/18 60 minutes of walk/run intervals
4/19 75 minutes of walk/run intervals
4/20 105 minutes of running, stairs (killer), weight machines and elliptical

That should bring me up to 420/1200

I love reading what everyone's doing! Awesome!

25 today bringing me to 58/600. I will make it!

Thanks Cam!

1100/1200 Did 50 minutes on the elliptical after eating lovely steak tips at Longhorn for supper! Have to do the time if I do the crime! But it was soo good!

I'll just see how much over my goal I can get! I love challenging myself!

TTFN :tigger:

I literally did not have a minute to stop yesterday to either exercise or update! I did rake heavy topsoil and fertilizer for somewhere over 2 hours, and played with the dogs for about 30 minutes (Soccer! For some reason my two smallish dogs love the challenge of the huge ball! :rotfl2:)

I'm going to take a bit off for breaks between tractor loads. :hyper:

New total:

420/600

1150/1200 another 50 on the elliptical this morning! Hoping to squeeze in another 50 later this morning and maybe another 50 tonight! Trying to avoid my weekend weight gain!

Time to get ready for soccer games!
