April Exercise Challenge -27,527 minutes reported!

I know it is the 16th, but can I please join? I would like to finish the month strong and exercise for 600 minutes total.

I did a 12 min. mile today doing WATP and then 21 minutes on the recumbent bike, so 33/600.

Thanks Cam!

Had a rough day, entirely unable to put any weight on my right foot! I did do some crunches and push-ups (harder than I thought having my foot supporting my weight!) and equaled about 15 minutes. Not nearly what I wanted. I'm hoping to up that tomorrow.

180/600

I am at:
864/1600

Includes a 14.5 mile run on Friday, a couple of yoga classes, some elliptical and some treadmill time.

Thanks Cam!

Great job, Rose!

4/16:30 treadmill minutes

Nice!

I had another 110 minutes last night, including 65 minutes of deep water aerobics, 30 elliptical, and 15 on recumbent bike. That takes me to 1080/1200. I'm not stopping when I hit my goal of 1200. Maybe I can reach 1400 without even training for or doing a race this month. :)

Thanks Cam, my foot is MUCH better today!

Wow, great workout for you last night! That deep water aerobics sounds awesome.

Happy to say that I went to visit my parents this morning and hopped on my mom's recumbent bike! I did 30 minutes no problem -- the recumbent is much easier on my foot! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

New total:

So glad to hear your foot is feeling better and that you were able to find an activity to do that didn't further injure it. I hope you give it time to heal.

I love the deep water aerobics class. It is a great workout. I usually get in the water early and do laps of some style of amateurish swim stroke before the class starts and then I work really hard through the class. The instructor has commented that most people are there to socialize but that it is obvious that I am there to work. LOL! I figure if I am giving up 65 minutes of my evening, I want the time to count. :goodvibes

I was going to suggest a recumbent bike and then on your last post you said you used your Mom's. Good for you. That takes a lot of the stress from your foot. Glad it's feeling better!

For me today, 35 minutes wt machines and 35 minutes cardio.

Morning all,

710/1200 did 50 more minutes on the elliptical this morning. Hoping for another 50 tonight after work and getting my hair cut! Hoping to walk tomorrow night at the track for at least 45 minutes! And do my 50 minutes in the morning. I tried on clothes last night for the cruise and really need to work hard the next 2 months!

TTFN :tigger:

Did 120 gardening on 4/14
And 120 walk on 4/15
and 80 walk on 4/16
And 60 walk on 4/17

Grand total of 380 mins which brings me to 625 I think:banana:

726/1700

Went to my stretching class this morning and got my walk in. Yesterday I took the neighbor's dog for a walk late in the afternoon. The poor thing is so overweight; she's almost as wide as she is long. She was very, very happy to go, just super super slllllloooooowwwww. Maybe I'll try to take her out a couple times a week and we can slim her down and speed her up! Sounds like what needs to happen to me! :rotfl2:

Hope to pull some weeds here and get some grocery shopping done. The cupboards are definitely bare!

Alright Alright I'm in!! LOL

goal: 800 minutes

To date: 300/800 minutes

4/8 - 60 minutes tennis
4/10 - 70 minutes intervals
4/13 - 63 minutes intervals
4/14 - 56 minutes intervals and tennis
4/17 - 52 minutes walking

I've been following the exercise challenge threads for a while and mean to join in for the next month forever. I think it's awesome that everyone here works toward their goals and encourages others. I was doing so well for several months and then fell of the wagon for a few weeks with spring break. I really want to get back into a routine and I know these threads will help me stay on track.
I'm subscribing for a reminder to join in for May!

Great job everyone, keep up your great work!:cheer2:

Nicely done!! It is so inspiring to see someone doing strength training and cardio in the same workout. That is a huge change I just haven't made yet, even though I know I have to.

How sweet of you! My dog LOVES to go for walks; it is so nice of you to be willing to help your neighbor and to help the dog be a bit healthier.
