I promise to get moving tomorrow again! Going to drop DD7 at school and then drive home an then walk back to her school to volunteer for an hour and then walk home again. I live about a mile from the school. Hoping to go to the track in the evening tomorrow as well. I will try and get up at 5 for a workout as well in the morning, plus eat well and drink TONS of water!

Been stress eating and drinking this weekend with no exercise! Finished dinner and now we are watching Hop! Time for some water as well!

Hi, everyone! I hope you all had a happy holiday weekend. It is so wonderful to see how active everyone has been. I’m sorry I’ve been MIA and hadn’t updated minutes. I think I have everyone updated through now. Please check the first post and don’t be shy about letting me know if I have your numbers wrong.

Kathleen – Somehow I’d upped your goal number by mistake, but I fixed it. That should make your color updates right going forward. :sunny:

April 6: 40 minutes dreadmill. Yes, I'm calling it the dreadmill. I took 3 days off. Just needed a break. Running my first 5k in 3 years April 15th. I REALLY need to mix it up from the treadmill! I tried Jillian again the other day using 3 pound weights and my arms hurt after 5 minutes! Seriously?!? I shut the DVD off and quit. I just have to plug through the 20 minutes! guess I'm in a little bit of a rut. Just keep swimming, right?!?

Great job on all the workouts!! Yes, I call it the "dreadmill" too and everyone thinks I'm joking. Good luck this week getting ready for your 5k! I know you'll do great!!! :cool1: How were all those calories? Delicious, I hope! Don't you hate when you work hard to earn the exercise calories so you can eat extra and then the food isn't worth is? LOL!

It was so gorgeous here, too, but I didn't get outside yesterday. Howard did an 11 mile run and I was the tiniest bit jealous that he got outside. :)

I'm in for 400

:welcome: So happy to have you!

As for me, the last couple of days haven’t had much formal exercise built in, but I’ve been pretty active.

Friday – Running errands, zipping around many, many stores, parking as far as possible and moving, moving, moving – 100 minutes

Saturday – We were at the museum for the Van Gogh exhibit for almost 6 hours. We walked up and down the inside stairs about 8 times, walked the “Rocky steps”, walked to and from the parking garage 2 times, did the parking garage steps, and walked around the outside of the museum (even though I was wearing cute, but not comfy shoes!).

Now I know why my hip hurt so much Saturday night and still hurts enough to keep me from sleeping without pain meds (all those steps were not a smart idea for me)– I am calling it 180 minutes of walking (being conservative)

Sunday – I was on my feet literally from 7 am until 12:30 pm cooking and cleaning, but I didn’t count any of the minutes. I’m telling myself I shouldn’t feel guilty about not exercising. LOL!

Friday night we took the dogs for a long walk in the park - more than a 5K since I added this other circle to the route and had to back track to check on my parents and other dog.
Total time - 1 hour 20 minutes (80 minutes)

Saturday morning is usually gym time - but we didn't go. So I did a Wii Fit workout and then some time doing Just Sweat on Just Dance.
40 minutes each
Total time - 1 hour 20 minutes (80 minutes)

Went to Stone Mountain Saturday night and ended up doing a bit of rock climbing at the top. I count this since I broke out into a sweat! LOL
15 minutes

315/1000 so far this month!

Did 75 minutes on Saturday training. :goodvibes

That puts me at 250/1200.

An 11.5 miler, two short days and at least one day of cross training this week will keep me on track.

Cam, hope that hip feels better soon! :flower3:

Keep up the good work everyone! :yay:
