April Exercise Challenge -27,527 minutes reported!

Hi Cam!

Too bad I didn't do the March challenge with all the events I had going on. Ha! Please put me down for 1200.

Thanks for doing this for us! :goodvibes

Hi Cam!

I'm going to challenge myself to do 1200 minutes this month!

I did 50 minutes yesterday and 20 so far today. I plan on doing a bit more tonight and will add that in later after I do it!

So, I'm at 70/1200 so far!

Hoping this will keep me motivated! I have 82 days until PCC3.0 and our next WDW trip so I really need to get moving and hopefully lose this last 15 pounds!

Hi --

Thank you for starting this thread, Cam. I really enjoyed having that accountability last month so hope to keep it up this month, too.

With the advent of yardwork, I'll up the ante to 2000 mins. Here's what I've got so far:

Apr 1 - 55 mins, power walking with dog
Apr 2 - 26 mins, very slow running

81/2000

It'll be fun to read everyone's progress.

Adding on another 10 for my ab workout last night and 40 more for the elliptical this morning.

120/1200

Hoping to do more tonight! I may end up raising my goal or just keep and try to push beyond that!

April 2: 40 minutes treadmill

PS: thanks Cam for all the encouraging words, I wasn't going to workout today but I came home from work and DH kept DD occupied while I worked out!

It makes me feel really good to know that this challenge and the people here are helpful. We are all in this together! :goodvibes

Hey, sweet lady! I'm happy I'll see you posting here this month! Yes, you had a gazillion minutes last month with all your races. I hope you are taking it a bit easier this month. :)

Glad you found the challenge helpful. I definitely do better the months I sign on to one. Sounds like you have a lucky puppy, getting out for a long walk. :)

I am so glad to see some new WISHers here that I don't know. I hope we'll all get to know each other better this month as we challenge ourselves and support each other. Great job already getting in 60 minutes of walking! :cool1:

Glad that the change of scenery also provided a new opportunity to walk inside!

As for me, I did 25 minutes on the elliptical last night before my 65 minutes of deep water aerobics class, bringing my total to 110/1200.

It really is a pain in the neck to change at my office from my work clothes into workout clothes and then save enough time at the Y after my workout to change into swim clothes; then after class, I have to change out of my wet bathing suit into sweats to go home and then to have to unpack all of it and deal with all of it. LOL! But I enjoy the water workout and I don't want to waste whatever small amount of time I have between when I leave my office and when I get in the pool, so I am going to force myself to keep this up.

I'm in! Thanks for hosting, Cam! :thumbsup2

4/2 75 mins - 45 boot camp; 30 cardio
4/3 90 mins - 30 w/trainer; 60 spin class

I'm bringing my total down a little this time. It's going to be a busy month for me at work plus getting ready to leave for WDW on May 1st to conquer the Expedition Everest Challenge! :yay:

I'm the lucky puppy - he's the first dog that has allowed me to walk a fairly brisk pace. My others have either dragged me down the street or have stopped at every blade of grass down the sidewalk. Hopefully, one of us will get in shape with all of this walking.

That is the thing that bugs me the most about working out -- changing clothes! And I don't think I'd be up for changing clothes twice like you're doing. Good for you for keeping up with that!

I would love to join in. I reallly need the accountability!

I am going to set a goal of 1200, which is way more than I've ever done before!
I am planning on doing a lot of walking/running, and a lot of yardwork, so I think I can do this.

So far, I am off to a good start.

April 1st - 55 min walk/run, 7 min stretch - total 62
April 2nd - none
April 3rd - 37 min walk/run, 7 min stretch, 6 min arms, 7 min abs/core - total 57

That gives me- 119/1200

April 2 - 27 minutes 30DS
April 3 - 53 minutes run/walk

135/1000

How big a dog is he? My sweet little cairn terrier, Cali, can't go too fast but I love her anyway.

I'm at:

145/1600 (yoga, walking and running so far)

Thanks!:goodvibes

144/1700

Hope to add to that this afternoon when I go for a run! I'm not letting a little (or a lot) of rain stop me! But rain does mean indoor recess--ugh. Today I'm subbing for a gal who has 3 recess duties in a row.

Great job, everyone! I think I have you all updated through this post. :)
