Hey Judy,

I'll see ya at Bingo. I think DJ Pike called bingo when we were in CA. He was fun, but I'm a Que groupee. I don't gamble except for bingo during a cruise. DH gets caught up in the Bingo frenzie at the end of the week. He'll be the guy buying extras at the last moment.

No, we had stomach flu strike our house last night. My daughter Blake is still nauseated. She also has a high fever. Maybe next weekend that we have free.

Pocono---we had Dessler this summer but DJ pike as still DJ ing. I hope their new dj is as good. Desslers wife had a baby and he left the Magic. I am also a Que groupy. Just think, if DCL rates keep going up and we all bail to RCL we may meet up with him. All I know is that he is now a cruise director on a competitors ship.

Thanks to all the info that has been coming in. I should get a chance this week to compile it if noone else comes up sick.

Judy - sorry to hear about the stomach flu. Virginia has some type of cold - lots of congestion but no other symptoms so we just hung out today. I agree about rates (see the other thread in the main board). We have never tried BINGO but I am starting to think about it.

Sorry to hear about the flu/illnesses! Keeping my fingers crossed here!
We have the big school fundraiser (indoor yard sale) this Saturday and I need everyone to be healthy so I can be there all day!

Vavasmon - ACMoore has t-shirts on sale thru Tuesday.

Never played bingo here either (and this will be our fourth DCL cruise)!

DH and I have never done much as far as nightclubs on the ship either as we seem to be tired and the kids wanted to sleep. Since my kids are a little older this time, we may try to catch some of the more adult activity!

Judy, sorry to hear the kids aren't feeling well. My two are running low grade fevers, sore throats, headaches etc. URGH! I hope I don't catch their germs.

Pocono - I'm waiting for you to finish packing first! With all of your DCL trips you should be a pro by now! I might have to let you talk me into some bingo!

I did find DD a new skirt/shrug for one night's dinner (still need a top to go with). No luck on a new formal. I wasn't happy with what I tried on this past weekend. I'll have to keep looking or wear something OLD!

I need to find new lanyard holders. Last time I checked our Wal-Mart was out of the zip-lock type ones I got cruise before last. For the repo cruise we had custom lanyards - I guess we could wear those again? They were nice, soft fabric that didn't bother your neck like the DCL ones tend to do! The Wal-Mart ones work well too and they were only $1 each!

DD is still sick. DS went back to school today. We had snow & ice on Monday so no school. Weather forecaster is calling for more snow by tomorrow's commute. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING!

Anybody getting the server is busy message? I've gotten the message just about everytime that I try to post. Maybe the Disboard folks are trying to tell me something!

Um, I haven't started packing yet. I got a bunch of things on clearance at the end of the season for Kate & Brett. I don't need too much. I'm getting better at packing less for all of us. I like to get a new bathing suit when we go away. I just can't put this snowy white body in a bathing suit yet.

Hi Everyone

I haven't started packing yet. We just made our excursion ressies and go DD7 signed up for the club.

I hope I don't have to buy much. The kids should be all set. DH and I may need some new things. He is losing weight and may need them. I'd like a new dress or two. I may need to buy a new suitcase. We'll see.

DD15 is stressing out big time. She has her NYS Math A regents exam on Thursday afternoon and 2 papers and a powerpoint presentation due Thursday morning. She is not much fun to be around right now.

Hey girls!!!!

My computer port thing broke over the weekend. I thought I just needed a new cord but after 3 I took it to Best Buy to the GeekSquad and it was something much more. Anyway long story short----I have a new computer.

Well I got my daughter well and now my son has it. Yuck. Better now than April 7th.

Thanks for all the PMs and I will get everything compiled.

I usually pack the 2 days before. We don't take much. I really need to get on the weight losss/toning workout to which I have been promising to start every single Monday for 3 months.

Judy - sorry to hear about the computer - hope you didn't loose any critical data

I am now fighting the cold DD had over the weekend. We leave tomorrow for the West Virginia mountains so that DD and DH can ski (DD has a 4 day weekend).

I e-mailed NativeWay again about the tour we want - I am on a list - it will go if they get 8 people. No new Palos slots appeared on Monday so I will need to get brunch when we board (if possible). After much debate - we are going to stick with late dining.

I almost feel like a traitor but I booked RCCL Freedom of the Seas for the week before Easter next year. It is also doing a western itinary. I got a cabin same size as a cat 6 but cosing $1600 less than DCL quoted me for a cat 6. Even with rebooking on-board the price will not be close.
I am very interested to see if the magic stops in Cozemel next week. They would be the first after the hurricanes.

Gone with the busy week, can't wait for a quieter weekend. Testing is done, DD think she did OK but definitely knows of a few wrong answers. Thanks for all the good wishes.

I went to my first wrestling meet last night. Not what I expected. And boy are they long. DS13 did good for his first time. He won one and lost one. I think our school one, there were 3 schools present.

I hope everyone continues to get better. At least sick now and hopefully healthy come april.

Judy- sorry about your computer. Aren't the guys at the geek squad great. They fixed DS's computer over christmas and really took the time to explain what was going on.

Glad to hear you're back Judy. My computer crashed during the summer, what a pain. I love my new computer. Hope the kids get better soon. DS's cold went into a sinus infection. We were at the doctor's yesterday. I think I'm going start taking some Airbourne.

Vavasmom, I can't wait to hear what you think of Freedom of the Seas. I was looking into taking a trip on it in 2007 for our 20th anniversary. I know what you are saying about the prices.

Polly, congrats to your son. Were you worried when someone else's kid was trying to take down your son? I don't know if I could watch.

You know You do feel like a sitting duck when everyone gets the flu.

MNRae where are you? Have we lost disney mommy too?
This little DIS group is shrinking by the day. That means we willl get to know each other faster.

My husband is at a conference all day today and tomorrow. I hate doing the weekend by myself. He will be off all sunday and it is passholder preview for Expedition Everest. You guys will get the full rundown before any one else. I hear great things about it. For those of you wondering what this is---
it is disneys brand new roller coaster attraction in Animal Kingdom Asia area. It is supposed to be very fast and go both forward and backward. They say if you like Rockin Roller Coaster you will love this.

You know I go through spurts when I go to the main DCL boards and all the topics are the same old things over and over. I guess I get tired of the monotony. I like the really different subjects. That is when I get burned out on hitting this site. You guys are the only reason to check in. This whole speculation thing and some people are already on a waitlist and the prices going really out of sight has me feeling weird about the whole thing. VENTING

Still here - lurking at bit when possible - been busy - midterms at school (teacher )

I still haven't sent my deposit to Native Way. I have to get on that!

MIL and FIL are currently on the 7-night Eastern. Haven't heard from them at all. Anxious to hear all about it. They will be with us in April.

Told DH about the green t-shirt thing. He thought I was the BIGGEST GEEK!

Polly, congrats to your son. Were you worried when someone else's kid was trying to take down your son? I don't know if I could watch.Pocono

It was very nerve racking, especially when I talked to him afterward and he said he couldn't breathe. But he still likes it and can't wait until his next meet.

MNrae-My husband thought the same thing about the shirts.

I jus got an email from dd15 cheer coach, she wants us to rearrange our schedules so the girls can perform at a women's basketball game on Tuesday. She has no idea what it means to rearrange your schedule. My dd has 3 different activities on tues. she has a piano lesson, then she coaches 4-5 year olds in cheerleading and then she has church choir practice. And I still have 2 other kids with activities. Lately it seems all my kids teachers and coaches/advisers think their class/sport/activity is the only one that should matter to these kids, its not fair. Practices are supposed to end at a certain time and almost everything my kids do ends 15-20 minutes late.(venting) sorry.

I feel better. I've got to go wake up the girls dd7 has swim and dd15 has school musical practice. On my way again.

Hello everyone, still here!

I was out of the loop for a bit. Extremely busy with the big school fundraiser!
Looks like we brought in $13,000 yesterday! I am so happy!

Now, working on my first girl scout cookie order! Luckily, someone made up a spreadsheet so I can double-check my math on the computer! Wish I could submit the whole thing online!

Got a few sniffles here but nothing bad!
