April 7, 2007 Western on the Magic?

Hi Everyone
It's DD's 18th bithday tomorrow so having a party and on Sunday we leave for the airport and Las Vegas. This will probably be my last message before I see you all on the Magic.
We don't have green bands I'm afraid but look out for us - My 2 girls are tall and slim with blonde hair and DH and I are very british looking. People always know we are british however much we try to disguise it!!!

Really looking forward to seeing everyone. Hope everyones journey goes well and safely.

I did some research and based on at sea days, dining and show schedules I suggest:

Tuesday at 10:30 pm at the Cove for a "pick your kind of martini" meet. My appearance unfortunately will depend on the kids cooperating and not being too tired to go to the clubs.

If anyone else thinks a different time is better, please don't hesitate to suggest.

that works for me - but with just me & DS - he's pretty self sufficient and i;m very flexible....so whatever works for the majority will be great!!

I don't recall who else picked up the Mickey Icon paint chips....but let me know if i should stop by home depot to get some more...not sure how many you have...i have 22....

how tempting does this sound????? Wish we could join you...but no school break at that time & going back to Italy that June....so just waiting till '09 when he graduates HS - before beginning his first year at college...we'll go again - but that will be the Eastern...or maybe some 'special' cruise depending on what they offer that summer....

Paula, you are correct I did mean Monday (I was trying to pick an at sea day. I was thinking 10:30 at night but I would be more than happy to do it during the daytime - that might even be easier for me.

Just taking a break from washing and packing to daydream about what I'll being doing NEXT Saturday night after we set sail. Checked our Walmart for green bracelets today. No luck with the bracelets, but stocked up on sunscreen. Also bought ginger. Never tried it, but I've been reading that it does work if the boat starts a rockin and nausea sets in. The girls haven't cruised before so I don't know how they will be. Probably fine.

Finally received my docs and straightened out my flight dilema - and really looking forward to some warm tropical air. It's still 40 degrees here.

Girls are looking forward to meeting the friends they found on the forum. I added their picture to my signature for fun.
