For all of you previous DCL cruiser:
My DH and I are avid cruisers! However, this one will be our first DCL cruise. I see many of you are "repeat customers," that have booked additional cruises while being on a DCL cruise. I'm wondering, are the discounts really worth it by booking "on ship"? I'm going to have to start planting seeds in my hubby's head so there's no sticker shock when we investigate booking while on board.![]()
Yes, it's worth it! When you rebook on-board, you get a 10% discount plus on-board credit - the amount depends on the length of cruise (for 7 night cruises it's $200.) If you change your mind, you can always cancel the reservation and get your deposit back up until 3 months before the sailing date. And if you don't have a specific date in mind, you can book a dummy date.
