*GT bookings (can be IGT-for inside, OGT-for outside, or VGT-for Verandah) are guarantee bookings, usually offered after or around paid in full date for the cruise. They are typically well discounted -around opening day prices, but come with heavy restrictions: no name changes, no refunds, no requests for cabin change. You get what you get, at or above the category you choose. It's a way for DCL to push reservations for empty cabins. While less frequently seen in the past, since the Fantasy added so much capacity to DCL as a whole, there are frequent *GT offerings, particularly off season. We traveled the last week in August and saved several thousand dollars.

So, I was wondering if any of you had already cruised this itinerary and if there were any "don't miss" port adventures? My youngest being just turned 5, I know we will be not able to do a lot of the super adventurous stuff, but I am excited just to do more traveling with them.

Thanks! Makes sense now ... we booked a similar rate for our Med cruise in 2011, what a GREAT value! Didn't realize that's what it was called?! Wish we could have taken advantage this time ... but our friends needed to have a plan in place! It's okay ... THIS time!

OMG! Me too!! I finally got off of Pinterest and the DISboards and took all my ideas to the TRIO of craft stores nearby ... It's walking distance between my JoAnn's, Michael's, and Hobby Lobby!! Today I spent about 2 1/2 hours wandering the isles ... comparing prices, TRYING to get inspired to create something completely new ... instead I just came away overwhelmed!!

Thankfully there's still time! But we are soooo excited to cruise with friends and to meet all of you!!

Me too......... I have so much to do, Alice has been ill, busy at work, doing a course and just being a mummy but playing with my new sewing machine and thinking about Fe gifts and outfits is sooooooo much more fun.

I am struggling with a dilema as well. My little Alice is now 12 but still very tiny and unable to choose what she wears herself. Can I still get away with the whole disney dress up like I did on our last cruise in 2011 or is she just too old :-(
