April 6, 2008 - 4-night Spring Break Cruise - Anyone else going?

IDK from personal experience but I have HEARD that you will be just fine.
The online check in took care of all the paperwork. Anything else you can do at the desk. The only other thing missing is luggage tags and they are supposed to have extras at the port that you can use.

I don't remember off the top of my head but I think you are driving right?

We will be driving to the port. Travel agent has tracked them down and says she will drop off to us at WDW on Friday. But she was going to call and make sure there wasn't anything that I had to have just in case it doesn't make it to her.

If you're driving then you should be fine. The only worry would have been the airline transfer dance without proper luggage tags.

At this point Cuise Docs/Tickets are really just a formality but tons of fun to have. And, having the luggage tags in advance will make your luggage drop off at the curb a teency bit easier.

That's awesome. For anyone that doesn't know, "scattered showers" is Florida's way of saying "yes, it will rain every day for 15-30 minutes".

Well if that's all the rain we're getting it sounds like a built in nap time for me.

I am getting so keyed up and excited :goodvibes

Has anyone else started packing yet?

We are packed and ready to go! We head out on Friday morning. I'm just hoping the thunderstorms up here don't delay our flight down. Worst case we just drive but I so don't want to do that. Driving back is more than enough for me.

We aren't packed yet but we are "stacked". Most of what we want is clean and stacked on dressers and around the house.

Tomorrow is a really big day for us. We have to wrangle the cats and take them to the spa (vet).

We don't dare bring out the suitcases until they are gone.

Good luck with the flight. I'm sure you will be just fine. Has Delta finished all their inspections?

We also have to wrangle the cat into the carrier on Friday morning and drop her off for her vacation.

I'm not sure if Delta is back to normal after the inspections or not. We had several people from the office stuck in Atlanta on Thursday last week. We are flying Southwest but between the rain and the terminal shutdown at Orlando yesterday my DH is already trying to talk me out of flying. I just can't sit still for that many hours when I'm all excited and ready to go. Coming home isn't bad because I'm tired.

You guys are way ahead of me. I'm in the middle of laundry. I will probably be up until midnight making sure it gets done.

I can't believe we're leaving in less than 48 hours!

Just in case anyone's wondering....

The cats have been wrangled and are waiting to go to the vet, I mean spa.:lmao:

:cat: :cat:

Have a great day everyone!

I am so excited, I can't stand it.:woohoo: My kids even had trouble going to sleep last night, they were so excited. Then again, their excitement faded when they had to get up for school this morning on very little sleep!:teacher:

We've had the suitcases out for a week, but have yet to start to pack. Things have been crazy, so DW and I get to start later this afternoon. Should be a couple late nights before our flight Saturday morning.

Another family who got very little sleep last night. All 3 of us were wide awake at 4am but boy was it hard when the alarm went off at 6:30.

24 hours and counting :woohoo:

OMG! We just got upgraded to a verandah suite!

:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:

I'm sooooo happy!

Today must be the day of switches. We were bumped up to Main dining instead of 2nd dining :thumbsup2

Those of you getting changes: are you getting phone calls from DCL or your TA? How are you learning about the changes?

(Just want to make sure I'm near the phone if I need to be!! Bring on the Walt Disney Suite!)

Good for you!! We like 2nd seating because I can never drag DH back in from the islands but with a little one you will really enjoy the earlier seating.

I got a phone message at home from DCL. FYI, I also booked direct with DCL so that may be a factor in how you are contacted.

You can also check your ressie online to see if the stateroom has changed. That's how I found out for my Dec cruise.

I want to see that cat 1 suite when you get it!
