He had just come in from cleaning up the ATV's and I was so excited I could spit out the right words that someone was coming with us

We went out to supper last night at Ruth Chris Steakhouse and brought hoe a "people" bag and it will come out of the bag and into the microwave.

Open a can of cream corn and put on the table and watch TV - but I bet 'ya that the only thing on TV wll be new of Anna Nicole again UGH!!

Happy Sunday Kay,
we are off to go to WDW this morning, but i wanted to drop by and say Howdy!! I had to make sure it wasnt all a dream!!

I will post when we get back. I am not even sure which park we will be going to. We ususally decide about the time we arrive.

Did you notice they are offering a Florida resident discount on our cruise??
We called and got it. Those people who work inthe office sure dont want to give it to you. They even told us NO, we arnt offering them, when we had seen it in writing that they were offering it.
After my husband insisted she said, oh yes, now I see it. Then she said we'd loose our $100. room credit, we said so what we were saving over $400 with the FRD they were offering. she finally did it. I would trade the $100 credit for a $400 savings anytime. We just took the savings and applied it towards the next cruise.
The last 2 times we asked for our discount we had to fight to get it, last time we had to ask for a supervisor to get it done. If they dont want to honor it, they shouldnt post it.
Oh well at least we got it!!

Hi Princess and kay,
I just returned from Magic Kingdom.
It was great!!!
Around 80, a slight cloud cover and breeze which kept it from getting too hot.
It really wasnt that crowded for a sunday.
walked right on most things. i did notice that the new Monsters Inc comedy club is going to be where the Tome Keeper use to be. Not sure when it will open up.
I think it will be next month sometime.

I saw more characters than normal too. it seems they were in every little nook you could find all over the park.
I was looking for the new cruiseline buses but they must not be out yet. In The picture they looked so cool!!
I did hit every gift shop there I think, but only spent $12 on the grandkids. That is self control!!!
Of course I have 4 grandkids, so next time i will have to get something else.
I could use some new disney clothes for my April cruise, but I am too cheap to buy them at Disney prices
My favorite attrctions is the Haunted mansion and Mickeys Philharmonic staring Donald Duck!! I never tire of them.
Greg is more into Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain railroad.

Boy it's 5 and time for me to get busy fixing dinner. I will be back soon.

It takes me about 2 hrs. & 45 minutes (sometimes less) to get to Disney from my house.

Our weather was beautiful today.

I had friends come over from Tampa to visit me. They come about once a month. I met them on a cruise 2 years ago and we have become very good friends. I don't do anything while they are here. Sometimes we go out to eat and sometimes not.


I know what you mean about Disney prices for our clothes.

Sometimes I go with a friend to Merchandise Control behind the MK with a friend and poke around there. It is fun.

I just got back from Costco getting gas and went into the store for just a short while. I wanted a large crab for supper, but they didn't have them today. BUMMER !!!

I'll just have to go to our crab restaurant/RUSTIN INN this coming week.

Hi Kay,
It takes me about an hour to get to WDW from here, sometimes a little less if no traffic.


I have been to Merchandise control a few times. My youngest son use to work for the mouse for over a year. He started working stock under Mouse gears at Epcot and worked his way up to the gift shop, then to Guest Relations at downtown disney, then to manager at The Caribbean Beach resort in their merchandise shop and foods. Then he got a new boss that was terrible so he went back to guest relations for a bit, then he took a job as a manager of the mens depratment at a Walmart store and went seasonal ar WDW.
So I have been with him a few times. If you get there at the right time you can get some great buys.
I use to buy white shirts and print off iron on trransfers of disney characters on them. iloved them, but they changed the ink and now the clothes bleed when you wash them
I need to find a special ink just for transfers I guess.

well off to clean up the dinner mess, at least until we are on the ship, then soemone else will be cleaning up the dishes

Actually I usually just set the dishes down and let Minnie lick them clean, then I don't have to worry about washing the dishes!!

She does a great job!!


Plus this keeps people from dropping by at dinner time unexpectedly.

We are going to the Andrasia gardens (spelled wrong) We have never seen it and we have done most of the other excursions already.

Right now I don't have anything planned. I have done so many excursions in the past, unless it is something special, I don't go on them.

I love to sit on Deck 9 and just browse around and maybe read a book. (which never happens)

Oh yes. Last Sept. I took one of my twin sisters and her 2 DDs on the 11 night and we had Room 8602 and our veranda overlooked the secret deck on 7. There was a wedding one day and we watched. Everyone kept looking at us. It was sorta of funny 'cause we were not doing anything wrong and I know they wanted us to go back inside. LOL

I also love to sit in the Atrium and watch everyone go by. I have done a whole lot of pin trading there also.

I just fixed hamburgers and getting ready to watch the Oscars tonight. I love to TIVO shows more and then watch them w/o commercials.
