Love, love, love it with the changes! As for Goofy, just put him in blue too (dark nautical blue?) and make hime a little smaller maybe? JMHO. Thanks so much for your efforts!

I was on the PC cruise with Alan and never saw hide nor hair of him. I think he's bought a "renders one invisible" shirt

Thanks for posting this. I didn't watch it all, the repetative phrases drove me nuts, but I did watch some and read the beginning and end credits. For those more detailed then me, what did you take away from it? I think it was produced by a professor at a school?? I looked for a "used with the permission of Disney" but didn't see that, which I thought was interesting.

So, what does the group suggest? Do we keep going with the shirt idea? Change the design to just text, with or without the words DCL? Forget the whole thing? Would just a silhouette work? I don't know. Your thoughts?

The repetative phrases drove me a bit nuts also, but I found it quite entertaining. This was done for "teaching" and in the beginning credits they very specifically distance themselves and say they are not affliated with disney at all. I posted it really for the entertainment value and not as any commentary. They actually don't even mention images or wording, so I don't think it's applicable, I just thought it was funny.

Well, I'm just one group member, of course, but every experience I've had with Disney and their copyright laws have been when I was trying to BUY something such as a personalized T-shirt -- the people making the shirts to sell are the ones who know what they can legally do...

I just can't see how anyone can decide this but the vendor making the shirts, but if they are not *aware* of copyright laws (wouldn't expect this) it would probably be nice to let them know so they are not sued or fined...in the worst case scenario??

Has anyone experienced a problem with copyright laws as a consumer?

I don't believe the consumer would have any issues, if anything came up it would be directed at the vendor. I don't know how experienced the vendor is, or if they know about the possible issues, if it was me I would probably do as you suggest and mention it to them if they didn't bring it up. But it's Val that has been working so hard and doing a fabulous job with the vendor and on the designs, so I think it's up to her whether she thinks the vendor needs the "reminder" or not. Truthfully, I have a hard time imagining a vendor in this day and age, not knowing this, so we're probably fine.

On phone with DCL ..releasing Cat 5B.. Decided to change our cat ( to inside cabin 6th floor )...saving Alot of money. Never had a inside cabin.... But saving 3500 dollars... Anyone need a balcony ?...Ooops DCL will not release it till tomorrow due to our past credit.

I know I shouldn't post anything else but I really really like this revised design I have been playing with. Bob will say the "volvo" blue is boring but I like it. The trim would only go along the bottom. I increased the size of the flowers and decreased the size of M & M. I have concern the original I posted would be to busy when made into a full shirt.

I am jumping in here a bit late, but I really like these last designs best by far! I do like the "log cabins" - they look like grass huts to me LOL. Val, thanks for all your work on this.

The shirt on the left is my mockup using the #1 shirt design. You can see why I thought the original print was too busy. The pink shirt is the first one the company artist did for us. I figured a lot of the husbands (not mine) would not go for the pink.

This is the second design the company sent me that I thought was too dark.

The group logo on the pink shirt is Minnie; the dark one has Lilo & Stitch on a hammock. I think both are really cute but I thought they were not enough specific to our group.

I agree. If I like the shirt I will buy it if not I will not. I have a tropical shirt with Mickey on it that I got from the D outlet or $10 some years back. We all have a choice to order it or not.

Yes, far as I can see it's everyone's choice to order a shirt or not order a shirt. I don't do matching shirts. I just don't. So I won't be ordering one whether I like it or not. I don't do group lanyards either. No reason why anyone should buy the shirt if they don't want one for whatever reason, including if you don't like the pattern - just don't buy one.

Thanks Marilyn....I didn't see the post and still don't but I'm glad you gave us the heads up. I started printing out everything I wanted to keep that was up to five years old. Now I ran out of black ink.....hahaha. I'll just order more.

hahaha.....YES the Champagne Girls did go GA GA over that pink shirt. In fact, my DH John pours at our champagne tastings and he wears a PINK shirt too!!!!

I still agree with you Erik....I still like #3 the best, but I surely do like this one too now that it's revamped. I really like the border. I say YEA!!!
