Jackie...I was guilty of putting my last name on the Dis because I wasn't thinking and thought it was Facebook...I agree...it isn;t a good idea as everyone has access to the DisBoards, whereas our Facebook group is a closed group.

I sent some PM's today to people I saw that had quoted Jan's list, I hope none of them are offended by my PM...just trying to help protect people's identities.

This is posted on the first post on page one. This is where you can sign up for Champagne Girls, express an interest in linked dining, FE, Palo dining with the DIS group, get the address to express interest in the Free lanyard for DIS cruisers and see the attendance sheet.

Attendance sheet has DIS names, first names, stateroom numbers etc. Since it is something that can be edited by everyone, we should check it out every so often to be sure our personal entry is OK. If anyone knows of someone who has canceled for sure, perhaps they should be deleted (what do you think )

When new folks come on we can refer them to page one and suggest they check the Google list for all this, not only for champagne girls.

Seems like the most logical and useful plan to me. And certainly the folks who have canceled should be deleted. It's sad that we've lost them but it's too confusing to leave them on the lists. (As for pleasing everyone, that might be impossible ; ). )

How DCL explains it is:

Booking & ReservationsQuestion
I'll be traveling with friends and/or family, but we'll be booking separately. How do I coordinate my entire travel party?
Answer
Coordinating is easy. Once you've booked your cruises under separate reservations, you can link your reservations together so that you can share dinner seatings, have your staterooms located close together and more. Simply visit the Planning Center section of the site, log in and retrieve your reservation. Then click the Modify link under "My Reservation." Or you may call our reservations desk at (800) 951-3532 and we'll help coordinate your travel party details.

If you booked multiple staterooms during the booking process, each stateroom will receive its own reservation number. You can then link reservations using the same process described above.

Basically, someone from our DISboards can give DCL a list of those who wish to be linked for dining. DCL will then try and put us together at tables. Also, put our tables near each other.

I have been busy and haven't had a chance to check in here lately. I wanted to share some news though..........not sure how much I can share but here it goes............. My DH & I are working 12 hours tomorrow and 12 on Saturday. We are going to be extra's on ***** that has Will Ferrell, Danny Mcbride, Jason Sudeikis, Matthew McConaughey to name a few. I am really excited about it ! I wish I could take pictures but it's not allowed. Now if you can name the series..........good for you !!! But shhh keep it to yourself please. Have to get my wardrobe ready, need to bring change of 6 outfits. I will let you know how it all works out on Monday !

We were just in your neck of the woods and I thought your son was a sweetie on the transatlantic.

I am travelling with my DH, but in many ways I might as well travel solo. We have very different approaches to cruising. I like to do loads of different activities and he likes to hang out in the gym, by the adult pool, in the big portholes on deck 3 forward or on deck 4. I often don't see him from 8 AM to 8 PM. So far the one point where we tend to meet up is for dinner, but on our next cruise, this is not a given either. He has already announced that he will skip the dining room on Pirate Night and head to Beach Blanket Buffet instead.

Hi Angie! You're not kidding. You should try having to cook for my bunch when they're all together...one of the most exasperating tasks ever! Thank heavens my DH is so easygoing; he eats anything I serve and always tells me it's great. He's so darn sweet .
