I asked my TA to ask the DCL regional about a October cruise to Hawaii. She couldn't get the info on the TA DCL website that I could get on the DCL "select a cruise" page; the info on a soldout Hawaii cruise in Oct 2012.

drink like I do same drinks alcohol free..tastes good no after effects. For me it is not mixing alcohol with medication....except for Pina Coleda's. Little bit of rum doesn't seem to bother my rx's

Sorry we haven't been on much lately. So busy....

We are here at Disney....my hubby and I arrived yesterday afternoon and our friend Kimberly who's vacationing with us (we're calling this our "mini-honeymoon" since technically it's our first trip since our legal marriage....BUT our real honeymoon is our April DCL Hawaii Cruise after our real wedding, which we've scheduled and are deep in the throes of planning for April 21, 2012). The weather in Orlando was kind of ick yesterday....but at least we're in Orlando. we hung out part of the morning at Studios ...then once our luggage arrived we settled in at Wildnerness Lodge villas before in the evening heading over to Epcot for a little bit where we at at Tutto Italia and watched Illuminations.

Weather forecast doesn't look a great deal better for today, but we're off to Animal Kingdom!

To paraphrase, even a bad day at WDW is better than a good day at work . Have fun!

Looks like people are either bouncing around rooms or just plan cancelling. Earlier there was a cat 4 and cat 5 available then they disappeared and now a cat 9 is open.

Really wonder what it will be like after the PIF dates come. While it might be a populare cruise it might not be "sold out" after people start having buyers remorse. Maybe some good upgrades at port

We are going to be in Hawaii the first week in May, Lei Day is celebrated that whole week. Will need to see what is available once the 2012 schedules are posted. Maybe we could do a combo- Cinco and Lei Day celebration - Pineapple Margaritas anyone??

I am trying to get a stateroom to become available so I can upgrade from the 11b to an outside stateroom. Hoping one comes along. The cat 9 is gone! Hopefully my travel agent is looking out for me!..

I am PIF for the inside, there is no buyers remorse for me!.. I am ready to go!..lol

Pineapple Magarita

2 cups lime juice
2 cups tequila
2 cups triple sec
2-1/2 cups fresh pineapple juice
fresh pineapple slices for garnish


or maybe

2 1/4 cups tequila
12 ounces chilled pineapple juice
4 ounces pineapple, canned chunks (heck just get fresh off the breakfast bar)
4 trays ice cubes
Kosher salt, for rims of glasses
3 Mexican limes, quartered

Since I didn't want to make a gallon... I experimented and came up with this
2 oz tequila
1 oz triple sec
4 oz pineapple juice ( I happened to have that on hand.. I'm sure it would be much better with fresh)
Blended it with about 3/4 cup of ice and it made quite a tasty drink!

Considering all the hullabaloo (sp?) over the DCL alcohol policy... there was no mention in any of it about hard liquor... just beer wine and champagne... hmmmm... does that mean I can bring all the tequila and rum that I want??

That sounds great. I might just have a go at this on Sunday (the smallest quantities). I suppose Margaritas fit in nicely with our next vacation as well.

We were thinking about upgrading from 11 to 9, but it's about a $2000 difference! I'm betting we could do a lot of excursions for that much money. Oh, and drinks, too.
