There was a singles meet on the November Dream cruise, but there wasn't on the Fantasy MV so I'm not sure. I too am single and traveling with my BFF who is married. It would be announced in the Navigator if there is one.

I am a single too, but I rarely attend singles meets because I am too busy with all the other fun things going on. Plus I have a 9 year old DS that keeps me busy! But always open to making new friends :thumbsup2

Ahhh what a day! So I call DCL and I'm on hold for quite a bit... :rolleyes1even on the Castaway Club line...:rotfl2: I finally get a CM and ask her my questions about the Disney transfers to LAX after the cruise. She pulls up my reservation and immediately tells me she can't help me since I booked the cruise thru DVC. I have to call DVC.... :rolleyes2 SOOOOO... I call DVC... am on hold for quite a while... :rolleyes1 and when I get a CM and go thru my whole line... she tells me she has to put me on hold and get DCL on the line.... :confused3 I really wish it would have been the CM I got thru DCL the first time.. ;)
Anyway... I had to talk to DCL in the end anyway... so why did I have to go thru DVC so she could connect me to DCL??? :crazy2:

Sorry... just had to vent!! :headache::sad2:

Why do you make everything so difficult?:rolleyes1

There are a number of single guests on this cruise and on this thread. Look on the Navigator for singles lunches.

I have a question for a friend of mine who is on this cruise and is a DISer, but she is crazy busy and does not have time to keep up with this thread. I wanted to ask if there were any singles on this cruise? Do you think DCL will have a Singles Only meet? I told her I would keep an eye out for her on here, but no one has mentioned anyone who is single. :confused3

Singles lunches on most cruises, most days - but you don't have to be single, just traveling alone. It's a group table (tables) hosted by a member of the cruise staff, usually in Parrot Cay.

Just checked the itinerary and we are now listed to get into Hilo at 9:30am! (9:30 - 7:30)

Darn, If I'd known that, I wouldn't have canceled my excursion in order to have 'walk around' time. ed to say - I got back on it! THANKS for the heads up)

Thanks so much everyone. I will pass the info on to my friend, Holly.

Yes, our helmets are full face but thanks for the tip. I hate having a dirty shield.
Did you find someone who delivers ETOH to the hotel? If not, we'll have to make a road trip so we can have plenty of rose regale. I'll be at the hotel by 2:00.

Seriously, choc covered strawberries.

I only know about the wine shop that will deliver to the hotel (posted link on fb, I think...Off The Vine). Seems to remember when I called them last year there were willing to get some Rosa Regale for me, though thay don't normally carry it. I didn't do that since I wouldn't be buying any of their other wines...didn't seem right.

Since we are driving, trying to decide if I should just buy some RR here and not worry about trying to find somewhere in Burbank area that carries it.

I'm sitting here eating strawberries as I type...just not chocolate covered ones...

Sweet!! How thoughtful of them! :thumbsup2 And well deserved, I'm sure.

Have a car! After trying online and having sites get upset because I wanted to return car same day as I rented it :) I called Expedia for the first time....jingle kept playing in my head...got a very nice gentleman who worked behind the scenes because "form" wouldn't work for him either and got me a Dollar car rental :drive: with shuttle pick-up for $30 less than Kayak had booked me with Budget :banana: Phew one crisis adverted!

I am glad that you managed to sort this out.

Corinna, I submitted this (for the second time) because I'm not sure if I gave you my work e-mail address on the original go-around. Don't think I knew I was retiring back then! So it is the cox.net e-mail address for ibouncetoo!

Thanks

Jackie/Keakuki

.

Looks like I had the work address. I have deleted the original entry now.

Can we join the fe list? My 4 yr old would be so excited... She was so curious about them the last cruise. We have some great gift ideas we will work on this weekend.

Thanks for all this

Carrie, Adam and zoe

I added you to the late joiner list, but need your stateroom number.

I would love to sign up for the late list too if possible.

Amy :flower3:

Amy, I need your stateroom number, number of people in your party, all names plus the ages of any kids please.

Disney has come out with the last pin that will be offered on the cruise. Here are the 8 pins

I love the pins, but I can't believe that there is not one with Stitch.

We have a 12:10 p.m. flight out of LAX. DCL told us that taking DCL transportation would be fine as the ship will be in port by no later than 7:00 a.m. We were told that the only issue may be luggage - because of the timing, we may wish to carry off our own luggage and go to the bus, as opposed to leaving it outside of our stateroom and then reclaiming it after customs - we were told to double-check with Guest Services after we are on board.

In any event, it's entirely too depressing talking about the END of this cruise before it even begins!!
I know what you mean! I have not even boarded the ship and thinking about disembarkation, yikes!

We are using Disney transfers to LAX and have a 12:25pm flight. Good to hear that we should make it to the airport in time.

The Navigator is now officially closed. I cannot accept any further additions or alterations.

Corinna

Received a call from DCL a little earlier today saying that our Hilo shore excursion has been moved earlier the day because we will be arriving earlier into Hilo than previously scheduled. Sounds like we'll be making good time across the Pacific! :yay:

We never recieved a phone call from DCL, but after your post, we looked and our Secrets of Puna was also moved from 1:15 p.m. to 12:30.

Late arrivals for the FE group....would you please post your stateroom numbers and number of people including amount of kids with ages and sex so my DW and I can add you to our list. You can send us a PM if you prefer.

Thanks.

Help! I just called to re-confirm my car rental in Hawaii and the Budget rental I have for Honolulu, that had said they had a shuttle, does not operate a shuttle except from airport to where their cars are parked. So I would have to get my own transportation from ship to airport them to car lot and we have reservation at Aulani at 9:30 am. Now I need to find another car rental at a decent price...or at least find out how much cab would cost. There are 4 of us and a wheelchair so I am really not a happy camper right now!

Has anyone else done a rental car for there?

Go with Thrifty. The site http://www.hawaiicruisecars.com/ has codes with good prices. They have shuttles in all the ports and get good reviews on Cruise Critic. If you go with Thrifty be sure to sign up for Blue Chip it will get you in and out much faster.

Rant away, you EARNED it! You , Madame, are either one BRAVE or one CRAZY woman! :dance3: Maybe they can put you up a ladder - I mean you still have to pack, right? Or you could move to the Residence inn for a couple days? Or leave for California a week early?

I think I'm crazy! I'm packed besides toiletries, and hopefully have everything I need from upstairs now, coz I can't get back up there! Silly woman!!!! :sad2:

The CAT....he wants to go. He kept crawling inside the luggage. As of now, he was not zipped up when I moved the cases off the bed, but he thinks he belongs inside them.....

:eek:EEEK - do we have a panic smilie?????
pixiedust:that all goes well. Talk about putting my last minute issues in perspective!!!!

Cheeky pets! My dog knows the minute the luggage comes out that something is going on, She gets all sad and sulky.

I hope it all goes well too! Praying for no rain while we are away so they can finish all the really bad stuff, like the roof! :headache:

Well, yeah, I understand that! We are having a house built. They poured the slab yesterday.....it is so exciting to go to the site everyday to see what else they've done.

They'll be doing so much while we are cruising.....we asked our next door neighbors to take photos every day for us, because we'll miss a lot!

We close on June 13. Can't wait to move in to the new house!
:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

So excited for you Connie, we built a few years ago, was so much fun choosing everything ourselves and getting exactly what you want.
Our house wasn't even for sale, someone contacted a real estate agent and said they wanted to buy our house, they approached us with a great offer, so we sold and bought in a big rush, when baby was 1 month old! We are seriously crazy!!! :rolleyes1

Sounds like a good time to be away.

Hard to imagine leaving the roof off--what about rain?

I'd love to see before and after photos!!

Best wishes! (i am glad you can hire this kind of work. The 100 year old house we removed was done by us, family and friends--and did we ever work.)

The builder told me they will use 'tarps' for the rain, but if it gets really bad the ceiling in Orlando's room may cave in .... great! Fingers crossed!

Thanks :flower3:
