Since I will be turning 35 in July, I am expecting big things then! Most days I don't feel my age. I feel like I have aged 20 years since Dh died.

I still have NOT heard anything from DCL as far as a venue goes....

I have received a lot of responses sending more money than asked for. So I have decided that everyone is now a taster. Everyone will get the same amount of champagne poured in their glasses and feel free to go back for seconds or thirds, etc. if you find one you like a lot.

These are the people that I have not heard from and not collected any money from and so I will have to turn away if they show up at the event. I cannot accept their money onboard. I cannot let them in for free when everyone else paid so generously. If you know how to reach any of them, please do so and let them know they are about to be eliminated from the function. Thanks.

That's 17 ladies. Cindy, I understand why I have not heard from you and why you were away from here for a while. I added you to the list until I get your payment.

That would put us at 77 total instead of 94. I actually like that number better. I'm afraid that DCL is not going to find a venue big enough for all of us. I was thinking of Wavebands, but we'll see what they say. Probably another week. They usually wait until 2 weeks before we sail to assign us a room.

I can imagine you would feel that way
... But in reality you are a courageous young woman, and I have to admire your strength in picking yourself up, and carrying on with your life to the best of your ability.

My kids and I are booked for the EB Panama Canal cruise! I'm stressing about packing for 2 weeks for just me. I'm not sure what I'll do when I have to pack for 4 and have to take baggage into consideration since we will be flying home. Really looking forward to it though!

How old are your kids? We flew with our grandsons (ages 8 and 4) and found it not bad at all. Of course there were 2 adults. But we managed carryon for all of us. For the 4 year old, we also had a car seat, but we were allowed an extra carryon bag (called it a diaper bag). We would have also been allowed a stroller. For the little ones, their clothes just don't take that much space. Each of them had a backpack and the older one pulled one of our rolling suitcases. You might be able to ask for extra assitance to get through the airport.

Reality is that no one offered to do everything for me so I had no choice but to pick myself up and carry on mainly for the sake of my kids. However, if someone said I could wave the white flag within that first year, I just may have! Three and a half years later and I am in aoretty good rhythm as far as day to day life goes. I get the kids where they need to be and make sure they are doing well in school. The reality of my life hits every night about 8pm after the kids have gone to bed and I'm all alone but I go to bed and wake back up and start the process all over. So even though I have some anxiety about leaving the kids for 2 weeks, I do know that I need it. I'll have a small taste of relaxation when we set sail this Sunday to the MR. The kids still have no idea and I'll have no guilt about going without them on this cruise since they get to go next week!

WOO HOOafter checking the DCL website 4 or 5 times a day we were finally able to book our family on tubing the ditch excursion. We have been booking in pairs hoping it would come together.

We really wanted to book this and I have been checking every now and again if it had opened up again. I missed it this morning, but actually I was quite relieved that I did not have to make the decision between this and the excursion we ended up booking.

I our case it is even more obvious. I am 37 and Graham is 53.

I am glad that I never have to go through this again. The year I was 35 was the most awful year of my life.

I have been organized today. I have updated the Navigator with the latest info. Now I just have to figure out how to get it from my work computer to my home computer as it is too big to email from my work email address, but I will figure this out tomorrow.

I have finished a bunch more Fish Extender gifts. Tomorrow I will start sorting them by decks. I still have one type of gift left to finish and two more to make, but I am still waiting on supplies for this.

I pretty much finalized the groups for the jewellery workshops. I need to put the finishing touches to those and then I post them tomorrow.

I also finally managed to get around to making my dining reservations for Disneyland. I have a 8:00 AM breakfast reservation at Steakhouse 55 on May 15th, a 8:00 AM breakfast reservation at Story Teller's Cafe on May 16th and a 6:00 PM dinner reservation on May 17th At Steakhouse 55. I could not believe that I got everything precisely when I wanted it. I was in two minds about breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen, but figured given the time we have at Disneyland, this is a bit much.

I was 31 when I got married, 32 with first son and 35 with the second..It's always great to go into your OB and they make sure they tell everyone that your "advanced maternal age"... I am like gees.. Way to make an expectant mom feel old!
