Got my dancing shoes on in the hopes of being able to do the Doc Dance! but alas nothing yet.

I'm going to try to finish up my FE's in the next couple of days, then it may be time to pull out the luggage, although I've been trying to resist pulling them out too soon.

DIS FABRIC SCRAP BRACELET

I am down to scraps.
I made a strip that was 44-45 inches long and 3/4 inch wide by seaming together little pieces
I used a J crochet hook
I chained 26 stitches
I made a slip stitch in the first chain and fastened it off

DIS-FABRIC BRACELET !!


(If anyone has scraps and cannot crochet, I could make more.)

The cast member discount store at WDW is called the Cast Connection and they even have food there. A lot of the college program kids come in and buy these huge bags of rice and pasta and split it up between themselves. You can sometimes find pretty good used office furniture and dishes too. As well as clothes and last year's marathon clothes and last years dated stuff.

Been there. And you are right, I think Jamie did her fair share of rice and pasta when she was there on CP.

She has to go re-certify her dancing or something like that for this summer. I fly home from the Fantasy on the 8th, she flies to Florida on the afternoon of the 9th, spends 18 hours in Orlando, just long enough to go Tues. a.m. for her dance thing at Animal Kingdom. She is hoping she gets into parades this summer, that is her goal!

From what we have managed to find out, formal night is one the first sea day. There has been conflicting information as to how many formal and semi-formal nights there will be. I sent an email to my travel agent about this last week and she got back to me saying that no final decision about the number and timings of special nights had been made by DCL as yet.

Absolutely Corinna....we have 5 weeks. NOT a problem.

I called DCL today and asked if I could put the money towards my shipboard credit and they said yes. Just give them a call when I'm ready. I have been putting it into a separate account and will transfer to DCL before boarding. At the rate that we're going, everyone is being so very generous, we will be able to afford two cases and that was my concern. It's a pretty heafty bill for two cases and it went beyond my budgeted contribution. John gets a hot stone massage every cruise and since I can't have a massage.....it hurts too much, I have fibromyalgia.....I get to throw a champagne girls party with roughly the same amount of money. I think mine is way better than a massage anyway....hahaha.

It's Sunday, last day of Spring Break here and tomorrow kids are going back to school. So I'll be able to finish packing my FEs, continue stacking things we want to take with us....I didn't do anything this week, since this cruise is still a secret for our kids and we will try to keep it *** a secret as long as we can

I can't believe it's only 5 weeks to go...I'm getting butterflies in my tummy already Can't wait to meet you all!!!

FIVE WEEKS! OK, I'm pretty sure I can loose five crummy pounds...one a week, no french fries, no ice cream. I can easily do delayed gratification for five weeks!

Broke down and bought some new clothes and shoes yesterday, now I have something nice to wear to dinner. Will also go shopping in my closet in a couple of weeks...usually find something I've forgotten about in there.

Deb, think I'll mail a check as I have a design idea for a greeting card and I can use this as the motivation to actually MAKE it. I promise if that motivation doesn't work, I'll send it via pay pal to avoid further delay!

Got a tad emotional catching up on the thread this morning. So excited about meeting up with old friends and making new ones!

FUN NEWS....get to attend a D23 event with Cheri (NotSoLittleMermaid) on the Friday before the cruise at Disney Studios.

STILL WAITING to hear about the possibility of Club 33 for the day before the cruise, agreements have been made, actual reservation...I haven't been advised of that yet!

No docs at my house yet...maybe I can do the dance on Monday!

I have a suggestion to make now that we are only 35 days away. How about if we start signing our postings with our first names so we can start figuring out who everyone is and make it easier to connect onboard. I know a lot of you know each other but a lot of us have no faces to put to Dis names and definitely no names.
It is strange to feel I have gotten to know a lot of you to some extent on here but haven't got a clue who "you are". Boy will wearing shirts embarkation day help! But I am definitely a senior so my memory is not the best of course my kids remind me it never was

Steph - I must say I was almost blushing when I read your response and that's not something I do! I will simply say that I am very happy that things worked out for you and I was able to help. We look forward to meeting you in person as we will be next door neighbours on the cruise. I only realized after I read the sig in your email that you have a 5 year old. My DSes (3 and 5 year old boys) will be right next door so it looks like they will make some new friends as well! See you in a month...
