Ok, sorry I have been MIA, had oral surgery and was miserable for a few days! Have stitches for another week, who would have thought teeth could hurt so much!

On the brighter side it has given me time to work on things. Tom and I went today and got rid of our 7000 and upgraded to a 6a so now we are GTY and hopefully someone will get our cabin assigned. It was less then 500 more and we figured its our 20th anniversary and I enjoy the balconys, especially in the morning with my coffee .

Now for the FE update , I have sent out a few emails for some updates on a few names but as of now we have 4 groups of 22. That is per cabin, when I make the final list I will break it down to adults and children on the spreadsheet so each group will know how many they have per cabin. I am also waiting to make sure no one else wants to add, but with 4 teams we have leeway to do this and not go over 25. Hope this helps!

Heather

Yes it does, thank you :-)

We are REALLY going to miss our verandah on the Hawaii cruise! There are absolutely NO accessible rooms with verandah available! I keep calling and I keep bugging my travel agency to call, but it looks like we will have an oceanview.....but I keep telling myself how LUCKY we are to get to go at all!
We didn't think Patrick would still be so healthy and able to travel at this age....especially to fly AND our younger son, Mike, got time off and a stateroom so he can go with us. We will have our little family all together on a cruise again....we are blessed that we can travel! We love to cruise!

Another plus.....so many of our fellow DIS board cruisers that we have been with before...it will be like being at a big family reunion!

Are you on a wait list for an accessible balcony room? If not make sure you have your travel agent call and ask that you be put on the wait list. They only do this for accessible rooms and if you booked through a travel agent only the agent can make the request. We were on a list from the beginning until late December...and we got a room when someone had to cancel!

Can you tell me if there are any extra shirts available. I am making a sundress out of the material I got and now wish I had ordered my husband a shirt. He would need a size Large. Thanks:)

I went on the site....there are literally thousands of earrings....how did you find them? by the seller's name?

The seller that makes the earrings that were pictures is Cheryl of Hokey Dokey, i think you can type in Hokey Dokey and her shop should come up.

:dance3::woohoo: And what is really cool is that this is family we CHOSE!! :grouphug::rotfl2::rotfl:

I booked this cruised last week and have been trying to add our family to some of the activities taking place with the group. But I am a bit lost on something, I see (Roll-CAll) on the spreadsheet but it has no description on it, The first page of this Thread does not have a description. :confused3 Please help, thanks :surfweb:

I am going to try to summarize everything in one post....

chip&dale&fun....OMG...I love your skirt!!!!

We too have a favourite room on the Magic & Wonder....2552....it was our room for the 2005 WB Panama Canal cruise and we have stayed in it many times on both the Magic & Wonder....I was not able to get "our" room for Hawaii....so I am next door in 2554...

About the merchandise chaos in the MV of the Dream...I happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able to get a MV Dream hoodie in a 3XL...I LOVE it and wear it all the time....

On the 2005 WB Panama Canal cruise we stayed in line overnight to get the special pins....I think the line started about 11 pm and we could not leave the line so we took turns saving places so people could go and change out of their formal wear into either comfy clothes or PJ's...we had soooo much fun that night....one guy even went to his room and ordered 20 pizzas from room service...because they wouldn't deliver to the line...DCL even brought us coffe, orange juice and pastries in the morning....and since everyone was scared that during the night people would storm the line, DCL came and stamped our hands with ink that could only be seen under black light....people think we were crazy but it was so much fun and if I was asked if I would do it again, my answer would be yes!!!!

About DCL not changing how the merchandise is handled, Karl Hotz was on the Inaugural Alaskan cruise and he was in the store and saw for himself the free for all with the merchandise....I think no one actually listened to the CM when they told them what it was like but Karl was watching and I overheard him say that he would never allow this to happen again....so we will see.

Those Hawaii Mickey earrings are adorable!!!!!!

Okay...I think that's everything...

One last thing....Tigger & Bubba...I think I remember you and your husband from the 11 night Southern Carribbean cruise in 2006....you guys had the awesome pirate costumes...right?????
Thanks for the summary, I also needed it. popcorn:: You are an :littleangel:

OK, it's after 5pm EST which means the cutoff for pre-ordering lanyards (and having them guaranteed) is past. The list currently contains 323 people. So I placed the order for 375 lanyards total (which is more than I have ever ordered for a cruise I've done this for----Jason's gonna be very sore since they all go in his carry-on! :lmao:). That will give me 50 extra lanyards for any latecomers or last minute bookers----and if nobody claims them then it will give me 2 or 3 extras per lanyard team member which is always a nice gift they can give their servers or favorite CMs. I know some lanyard organizers order tons of extras....but I really don't want to be responsible for carrying them all and I don't want any to go to waste, really (especially because the lanyards we're getting are more special than any I've ever done before...and, therefore, more expensive!

Also note: 4 of the names on my list still are KrisannB's family because she has not responded to any of my emails to confirm she has cancelled this cruise and hasn't told me to remove their names...so I'm not sure what to do...can someone who communicates with her on facebook please ask her to confirm with me that they are 100% off this trip because I don't want to remove them and then they show up and are mad they don't have lanyards for some reason.
Thank you so very much for doing this, :0)

Roll call is the sign in for all of us here on Dis Board who are on the cruise. It gives us info about each other such as what seating you plan to eat, your cabin, if you are new or experienced Disney cruiser etc.. Those in charge f different activities can look at it for contact info and to be sure someone who sign up for something is still "onboard" etc

I am sure a more experienced member can explain it even better...

yup, our first time to Hawaii. We never thought we'd go with Patrick....we thought maybe during one of our respite times.....like we did to go on the Baltic a couple years ago.

We actually need a month just on the islands! :woohoo:

hahaha....we're going to have such a great time.

Please check the list of names below. These are our Champagne Girls. If you know of someone who is no longer cruising with us, please let me know. Or if I missed anyone, please let me know.

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Wow! I am glad you are doing better! Oral surgery is NO fun!

Do you also have a list of those that want to "do them all"

I dont want to do groups, i am willing to give to everyone signed up, and i think there were several others who felt the same way.

Thanks for all your planning!

Andrea

Count me among those who will give to all.

VERY cute! How did you do that?

Please copy...mine was four panels, I divided twice each.

Thanks for all the nice comments on the skirt...It was fun to make...I even lined it!!

I am working on a hat for Hedgie...Those of you on the P/C or Maiden Dream may remember her...anyway, that is what I am doing with my leftover material...That and making a pillow...I was spoiled on the DREAM......

Pillow? to take with you?

Happy Day, all!

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Pillow? to take with you?

Happy Day, all!

Good Morning as well......Yes, we have a small travel pillow that we take and is a perfect size for placing between the formal clothes. One of those things that just happened one day and the next thing you know it now is carried on all cruises. We had its case autographed by the characters on the second cruise. Our last stateroom host on the DREM had lots of fun incorporating it into the night time turndown arrangements. So, I thought, why not use some of the leftover cruise material and give the sewing machine another workout?

I have to sew on some embellishments....and then I'll post another picture.

Have a great day all....

::yes:: I love the skirt too. :thumbsup2

If I get a good photo I will post my dress and maybe I can get Steamboat Willie in the picture too. The dress looks better on a hanger though :rotfl:

I have seen a couple of people saying the wrist band thing works well, while it is true for purchasing the items, it does zero to eliminate the crowds that will form to get the wrist band. As to the post saying they don't have the staff to do a order form. I find that to be a ton of BS. Since the shops can not be open while in port, the CM's can fill the orders on a port day. This can easily be done on one of the days that the stores will probably not open or be open for a very short period on the days we are in port from 7:30 A.M till 10:30 P.M. To me it seems like they want another problem on their hands. That is just the impression I am getting as Celebration appers to have zero interest in addressing this problem.

Response I got today from Shoreside. At least it got forwarded.

Dear Jan,

Thank you for your email.

We regret the disappointment you have expressed.

Please be assured, your suggestions on how to handle the special
inaugural Hawaii merchandise has been forwarded to the appropriate
department for review. We appreciate your patience while we process your
request.

The special Hawaii Merchandise listed online are the only items being
offered to pre-purchase. Other special merchandise will be available
onboard. As with most cruises that are being offered, we do not have the
merchandise list for the stores onboard the ship. However, if additional
information is provided by the department I have forwarded your
suggestions to, I will be happy to communicate that to you.

As far as the pictures on the website of the items, unfortunately, we do
not have any larger ones. We hope the written description will help
provide the additional information for the items.

I hope this information has been helpful. *If you require further
assistance in planning your visit, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Wilma

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope everyone is feeling well today and if not, that you recover quickly! I will send good thoughts and smiles your way. :goodvibes

Anyone have any good thoughts on a theme song? Yes, every time I think of the cruise I have 'I'm so excited' running through my head but it just doesn't seem to fit and I need a new catchy tune.

Thanks. :)
(Yes, I'm a little strange. . . but only a little)
