There are a number of things you can use to hold your KTTW. Many of them are lanyards that have a clear pouch at the bottom. These usually come with either an open top that the KTTW card just slides into or a closed zipper top that holds it more securely. They usually aren't waterproof and are available in the gift shop on board or at the parks if you are there first (check where they sell pins).

If you want something waterproof you are looking for a surf safe (also known as a dry box. These are available onboard usually in 2 sizes. Shown below is the small which will hold about 4-5 cards of 2 cards and some cash. There is also a larger one that is wider and can hold a lot more. These can usually be found in some of the hotel gift shops at WDW. We have one with a DVC logo on it.

To hold more than just you kttw (like your wallet or passport) I recommend a splash caddy. This can be bought online from Magellans.

WE GOT OUR CRUISE DOCS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seriously, no kidding, danced through the house screaming my head off. Noone was home! lol. Then I called DH and screamed in the phone, he thought something was wrong!!!

omg seriously, I can hardly contain myself, I am so excited!!!! doing the document dance for sure over here. My hands are shaking. DH doesn't understand that I wanna go out to dinner to celebrate!

No cruise docs here yet. Mary or Karen do you know if you need to take passports with you off the ship when you go on excursions we like the idea of lanyards around your neck for the kttw cards.

got my cruise docs on friday. DO NOT have my stuff for our resort part of the stay and that concerns me. we are meeting up with family after our cruise and i booked the rooms for them direct through wdw. they all got there stuff. mine i booked through du and my stuff is not here yet . as they all got theres more than a week ago i have to wonder.
still, i have lots of time left so i won't worry yet.

Good morning everyone time for another Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day!


We're all going to have fun in the sun right? So don't forget the sunscreen! The sun is stronger down in Caribbean than it is where most of us live. On sea days it can be even stronger if you are out by the pool The cool breeze from the ship moving and the water makes you forget how strong the sun is.

Here's the tip - try the new spray on sunscreens. Especially for the ladies and girls who get their hair braided. Put sunscreen in those rows or you'll be in for a very red, very painful experience! Remember that part of the scalp doesn't see the sun too often.

Don't forget other often over-looked places like your ears and the top of your feet. Protect yourself and you can have fun at play and not be in pain the next day!

Mike - my plan is to just carry a copy of the passport info page and leave the actual copy in the safe in the room. That's advice someone gave me many many years ago when I first got one and traveled to England and it worked fine.

Thank you everyone for the ANNIVERSARY WISHES!!!!!

We are having the best day....everyone thought we were crazy that we were married on April Fools day, but it makes the day so much better because it is always full of laughs and smiles.

We got Katie good this morning. Chris made a countdown calender and she rips off a page everyday. He changed it so instead of 16 days till we leave it said 0 "surprise we are leaving today" She looked at us and questioned it but we just went along with it and said we packed the car last night...i felt bad telling her APRIL FOOLS!!! I can't wait till we actually leave because we are going two days before she thinks we are. We drive her to school everyday so we are just going to get her in the car like we are leaving for school and have it packed for Disney!!!

We also called both of our moms today and had Katie tell them I was having another baby....Neither of them remembered it was April Fools....my mother-in-laws reaction we complete joy and she was very dissapointed when we said we were kidding...my mom's reaction was complete terror and many comments of "you have to be kidding me" , "are we really going to have to do this again"!

Our first cruise.....CC day.....I was busy sunscreening the kids and didn't think about Mike. He never mentioned to me that he needed help with his back. So he was out all day without sunscreen on his back (think pasty white Ohio skin in the Caribbean sun!) He even floated around on an tube for a couple of hours (on his belly)

Yeah, it was UGLY. And painful. And messy (shedding skin for a LONG time.

As for our April Fool's.....KT came in early this morning and sounded horrible. she said she threw up in her bed. So I sent her to the bathroom and was getting ready to go in there when it hit me what day it was. Just then Mike was coming back upstairs, so I roped him into the joke too.

And my blog today.....yeah, it's an April Fool's joke. But if you comment on it and mention what day it is, I WILL edit your comment. HA! I HAVE THE POWER!!!!

What's in the cruise docs? I printed out the on-line check-in stuff but didn't know we'd be getting anything else. Do you still get cruise docs if you used DVC points to pay for the cruise? I'll definitely be checking the mail. My kids are SOOOO excited to be in the countdown for the Mickey boat!!

I think you get more in the cruise docs if you didn't do the online check in. I did that too. The cruise docs had the luggage tags (never been so excited in my life to see luggage tags) with your names, stateroom number, etc. on it, and a "travel book" that it looks like you only really need if you use disney transportation.

I don't care, I was still wayyyyy excited when I got them yesterday!! I am sure you will all get yours today or tomorrow. Mine came by 3 day UPS and I am all the way on the West Coast.
