By George, I think we are going on a cruise with Mickey and the gang. Great times are about to be had. I can really feel the excitement building up inside. Called the DW and advised that the pkg has arrived. The screams were loud and clear through the phone.

Yeah, I'm a seasoned cruiser....but I don't remember the online check in requirements.

I filled out most of them (information and payment stuff)
but do I have to fill out flight info?? I mean, I didn't get my air through DCL, and I'm coming in the day before.
Is it necessary?

And what's with asking me where I'm going afterwards and requiring an address? I hope they are ok with "Wilderness Lodge, Lake Buena Vista, FL, 00000" as an address. Would have been helpful if they had listed the WDW resorts by NAME instead of address.

And we aren't.....but what if we were going to a relative's house after the cruise. Even "other" didn't allow you to skip the address part.

No you don't have to fill in the flight info. If you were coming in that day I would just so they would know if you were delayed or not but coming in a full 24 hours before I don't think so.

As for where you are going after I think that is just to help if there is a mix up with luggage. They have had people walk out with the wrong luggage or even leave something behind and this is a way to get in touch with them. I think when it comes to a Disney resort the name will be fine.

Oh, you mean like when my parents "borrowed" someone else's suitcase. The porter put it on the cart, it was nearly identical to my parent's suitcase, and so they didn't even question it.

They figured it out once they got home. Disney still had their suitcase (one lone suitcase in the luggage pick up area) so Disney shipped it. The woman in (I think) MN who didn't get her suitcase. She was LIVID. My parents called her (her number was on her luggage tag) and she was TICKED OFF. It was an ACCIDENT! My parents shipped her suitcase to her pronto, but dang, she was mean about the whole thing.

No cruise doc's for us yet. we are wondering where everyone else will be traveling from.

We haven't received our documents either. Kay, who did you pay to get your documents so early?

We live about 10 minutes from the cruise terminal.

Meanwhile, DW got her hair done Monday. I need a haircut too (although there's not much left to cut), but I'll wait till next week. We plan to take our DD5 to Cocoa Beach to have her hair braided right before the cruise (remembering the sunblock advice - thank you Karen). That way, we'll have one less head of hair to have to mess with.

For those that have lost weight, I commend you. I know how hard it is to do that. I worked hard to lose about 13 pounds from October to December last year, and planned to keep going till the cruise. Well, we had family visit for Christmas and I never got back to my diet, so I'm right back to where I was last October. DW is not happy with me, LOL. Meanwhile, DW continues to run 4 miles every other day. I promised her I would go back on the diet/exercise AFTER the cruise. There's no point dieting on a cruise ship. hehe

"MAGNETIC PAPER?"

For door signs, does anyone know where to buy Magnetic Paper? I imagine that you just put the 8.5 x 11 paper in a printer, and VOILA. Is that how some people do it? Or, do you print out something on regular paper and glue it to a magnetic backing?
