the results are not surprising to me. I said the other day it'd be cruel for them to vote someone off during such a feel good/happy/hopeful week. It's actually one of those times where I thought something and said it out loud....so many times I think it, don't say it outloud, and then try to convince everyone that I DID think it. So at least my family knew I was thinking it all along.

great! Our waterheater broke! I noticed this morning when I showered before work that the water didn't get hot all the way like it normally does. I meant to mention it to DH after work, but forgot. When DD wanted to take a bath tonight, the water was stone cold! I sent DH in the garage to check on the water heater, and he lit the pilot, which was out and after it stayed on for like a minute, it went out again. Upon further investigation, he noticed that the water heater has a very slow leak, and the water drops from that leak cause the pilot to go out! He wants me to call the gas company. I argue...what in the heck is the gas company going to do? They will come out, look at the leak and say what I said "get a new water heater". DH says that maybe they have something to temporarily fix this very slow leak! Whatever! I call...they can't come out until May 2nd, unless someone is home from 7am until 8pm, because that's the time frame they give. Well, DH has to work and so do I. I am subbing tomorrow for one of the office girls at the kids school and there is no way I am going to bail out on her! I told him I refuse to live without hot water until May 2nd, and the gas company person will just tell us what we already know...to get a new water heater! So tomorrow afternoon, we are going to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a new water heater!! I need my hot showers! Bad enough that I won't get to shower tomorrow morning before work!! Ewwww!!

As for idol: Guess it is just me but I didn't care for the show at all. For one thing I think they should have all been on the same stage - not going back and forth. When they said shocking news I first thought Melinda, but the more they played it up the more I thought they weren't going to vote anyone off. Next week should be interesting with 2 people going.

WE ARE CRUISING IN EXACTLY ONE YEAR!!!!

Let the official one year countdown begin...and lookie at my ticker...it no longer only says the months and weeks away...it now also says the DAYS!! I am so excited!

I didn't care for Idol last night! I could not watch it. Don't get me wrong, I hate, hate, hate all these children suffering, but I just can't watch it...I get lumps in my throat and feel like crying, and want to adopt them all! We had a girl start at my school on Tuesday that was adopted from Ethiopia. Can you imagine the culture shock? What a sweet girl!

We will be staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter before the cruise we will be flying in on Friday. after the cruise we are leaning towards the Polynesian. Wow finally less than a year to go. Hope everyone has a great Friday. Our oldest son just heard today he did not get another job. we told him to not worry he still has another month to go before college graduation

Our daughter age 3 was adopted from Guatemala. It broke my heart to see the conditions in that country so I really have seen first hand the conditions that they were showing last night. In Haiti a child is lucky if they own a pair of pants at age 15. They also have open air hospitals which is horrible as the bugs can get in. I am really glad that AI helped those proverty stricken both in the USA and other countries. I would have, however, have liked the guest artists to have performed with the 6 finalists or had the people who were in the past AI's come back and perform. It would have been like a where are they now show which talks about how AI changes lives and then told us that we and other corporations can make a differerence through AI Gives Back. What were your thoughts on the show?

friends of ours are in the process of adopting a baby girl from Guatemala!!! I just got an email from them (literally, before I came on here!) and they got word today that they are out of PGN! They got kicked out once and have been on pins and needles! They are hoping to bring their baby home SOON now!

I would have liked to seen the show immediately following the finale. You know how on Survivor they annouce the winner and then do kind of a reunion show? Well I think that would have worked better than what they did here. For one thing I didn't care for the contestants being in one venue and the stars in another. Have them all in the same place and like you said have the stars perform with them.

While I applaud the good work the money will do I'm just not a fan of telathons at all.

they have actually travelled to Guatemala to visit their baby 3 times already! They were kicked out of PGN once in February, I believe, and have been on pins and needles ever since. The little girl is soooo adorable, and it's so strange...her DH is hispanic, and I swear, the little girl looks like him, even though she isn't his biological child!

That is wonderful! I can't imagine waiting so long!!!!! We never traveled to Guatemala before we got Catherine but we only had to to wait 6 months before we got to bring her home. She was the second youngest one to come home on the plane that brought us into the US. Children from Guatemala are generally some of the sweetest children you will ever meet. I know they can hardly wait to bring their child home.

I hurt my neck somehow. The whole side of my neck is sore. I am not sure if I slept weird or what...but I have basically been laying around all day watching America's Next Top Model Marathon (old season) on MTV with a heat pad on the side of my neck!

I am doing a website for my brother in law's pizza place and that is consuming a lot of my time. It's hard to sit here with my neck hurting like that though! I hope he'll be happy with the layout of the site and stuff. He'll pay me a couple hundred $$ for it. It'll pay our tips for the cruise Everytime I get paid some money, I think of what part of the cruise I can apply it to!

Hello hope everyone is well. We went to buffalo shopping for spring clothes we are getting a start on 364 days from now we have to look for a count down clock. we hope to get more yard work done today and go for a walk as well we will look in on the web site latter to see the new additions we will send out a photo of ourselves sometime too
