U-TOP again. This time with a stalker!

Hi,

I just googled London Ohio (I'm not a stalker). It's really cute. I've been to Kay's town, many many times.

now if THAT doesn't sound like a stalker, then I don't know what does... The many, many times were all within the last 2 weeks, right?

I've never seen 24.

London looks like it has a slower pace. During rush hour it will take me 25 minutes to get to the center of town when it usually takes about 8 minutes.

It is a bit slower here, but then again, so are the people! HA!
Dh works 25 minutes away in Springfield. That puts London smack dab between his job and what I call "civilization." Columbus is where we go to church, where all of the good restaurants are, where we go to the mall, where the kids have their acting camps and their rehearsals for plays. etc etc etc.

Ppl at my dh's work (patient's family mostly) think he is CRAZY for driving 25 mintues to work every day. But the thing is, when we lived in Columbus you could go 5 miles in 25 minutes during rush hour!! At least his 25 minutes is doing 60/65mph the entire time. Plus it gives him a chance to listen to his podcasts (not his own....other people's) Although he does listen to his to see how they sound and if there is anything major that needs to be fixed.

On this last episode he did, I talked him into including his bloopers at the end.

Have you ever done a scavenger hunt for the kids on board?

I think we have enough time to plan an awesome hunt.

Nope. Never have. I know they do have one in one of the clubs. But one done by us would be fun too. I know when DISers sail around Halloween they do a trick or treat type of thing. Costumed DIS kids come to their door and they hand out candy.

I grew up in the Valley and then moved to SC so I can't count how many times I've been to Tierra Rejada or taken the 118 to Zuma. Not to mention my best friend lives in Wood Ranch..... Reagan Museum..soccer in Moorpark.

Have you ever been to Natural Cafe in Moorpark? I love it..

Ahh....I'm my dad's daughter. We never know when to believe my dad either. My mom is sick of us coming to her saying "was dad serious when he said....."

Ok, here's my dad....we've been emailing about their dog recently.
he said "mom is pi$$ed, Maddie was on the couch yesterday." (my mom cannot tolerate animals on furniture)
so i wrote back and said "I'm surprised mom didn't call the vet and ask to have Maddie's legs removed so she couldn't jump up there."
He writes back "Maddie has an appointment with the surgeon next week."
I say "too bad you didn't have it done when she was spayed....then you'd have only had to pay for anesthesia once!"

he writes back "shoulda had mom spayed...it'd have been cheaper!!!"

yes, i burst out loud laughing when i read that!

I *hate* taking the canyon to the beach. It would be so much faster, but it scares me! So I take the 118 to the 405 and go AAAALLLLL the way around!

We almost moved to SC years ago. And then before we started moving into this house, we talked about moving to Lake Elizabeth, and buying a few acres of land! Never been to Natural Cafe in Moorpark. I have to ask my friend about it. She lives in Moorpark!

Which "Valley" is that? Did that make you a Valley girl growing up? Have you seen the youtube video about how to get a guy in Silicon Valley?

Try Santa Clarita. It used to be 5th safest in the nation with population over 100,000 but I think Kay's town knocked off the rader.

I don't call that nosey....that's like a "neighborhood watch." you are just doing it so that if you notice something suspicious you can alert the authorities.

I usually take the 5 to the 405 to the 101 to the cyn on the way there.

On the way back we go to Jamba Juice in TO and go thru your neck of the woods.

well, that was before I moved here...it's no longer the safest city! Simi Valley used to be THE safest city in the nation! Maybe if I patrol the streets in my thong, we will once again be #1!
