Whatcha thinking about AI last night? I loved Blake's first performance. But Jordin definitely out-sang him in songs #2 and #3. I did think it stunk that the third song was SO Jordin's style. Fit her like a glove. Seemed forced for Blake b/c it wasn't his style. I wonder if the producers pick the song (from the entries) based on who they'd rather have win. Hmmmm....AI conspiracy?

We have a couple of movie rentals out so our plan is to watch one of the movies, dvr the idol final and then just watch what we want. 2 hours is just way too long.

KT has youth group tonight (the rest of us will hang at Panera while she's there) We won't be home until 9. And Mike and I want to watch the finale of Lost tonight....so we'll have to Tivo AI and just watch the end (and Taylor Hicks if they have him on there) No time for 4 hours of TV tonight!

He is getting to see them in June. We are going to Vegas and I booked the tickets for us. His boss is paying for the room and our airfare. We have 2 days on our own and then Mark is working two of the days (the Clean Show is there).

Well, we ended up watching most of AI. We did fast forward through a couple of the acts. Hit the two hour mark and our DVR stopped. Problem was, we couldn't rewind enough of live to see the actual announcement of who won. We just saw the winner singing the final song with fireworks and tears. So we assumed that was the winner. Would have liked to have seen the actual announcement, but what can you do?

Now too late to watch LOST.

Karen - we DVR'd it but finished up the movie with about 50 minutes left of idol so I was able to see all that. Mark did mention that the dvr stopped before the actual announcement. I liked seeing Taylor but 2 hours to do something (announcing the winner) that really took 2 minutes is a bit much.

Busy days for me as we have a lot of people off today and Tuesday so guess who has to pick up their work. Looking forward to a 3 day weekend.

hey all! I have been working a lot, I am off today, but working again all day all next week (except Friday). Then, the week after, I work M-F since my co-worker is going to Hawaii (lucky her). The week after THAT is the last week of school and I have to double up some time. The office staff is supposed to stay until June 30th and since the District is pretty much willing to pay us until then, but most offices don't stay that long, you "double up" and basically do the work beforehand, but still get paid until the 30th! It's been hard on me, since I am not used to working full time anymore. I haven't worked full time since before I had DS. I have been TIRED! I am ready to go to bed at 7pm, but of course I can't. I usually zonk out around 10 or 11 though which is way early for me! My house is a total mess, I just haven't had the energy to clean. Today I will catch up on some housework, and then I have the whole weekend and Monday since it's a holiday. We thought about spending 2 days at Disneyland, but then decided against it since it will be packed! We haven't been to DL very much this year, and I miss it

Sorry I haven't been around too much! But summer break is right around the corner and I will be off for 2 months!!

same here, although we were able to rewind live enough to see her singing the last 1/2 of her song and the group hug at the end. but we missed the actual announcement. we were "lucky" to at least be watching it that night (although delayed) if we hadn't, we would have had to check the internet for the results!

I knew that you'd say something sooner or later! Actually, I just read it! I was going to read sooner, seriously, but I have just been sooo tired, and it looked sooo long, and it felt like soooo much effort. Excuses, excuses...I read it now though. Ewww about the hairbrush! That's disgusting and I'm glad you said something! I hope you tossed it and didn't just bleach it! Overall, it sounded like you had a good time. Everytime we go somewhere, I always wonder about people tossing their trash everywhere or just leaving messes in general! That really bothers me! I hardly ever read WDW trip reports (ok, never...I just read the cruise ones) and despite all the not so nice things on yours, I really wanna go to WDW now! Wish we had time to go before or after our cruise!
