So don't worry about me....unless your typo makes something REALLY funny....then you'd better be checking your stateroom door for magnets! :)

great, our stateroom door will now be plastered with typos! :lmao: I sometimes type something and think "that makes no sense at all" but I post it anyway!

I have so much to say and so little time to say it. I need to get it down and out! :) :lmao:

no kidding! :rotfl: Well, we wouldn't want you to keep it all bottled up inside! That would NOT be a good thing! :scared1:

HMy kids have always wanted to ride in a stretch limo. It's HARD to keep the secret, I just wanna tell them. But then I think of how surprised they'll be when I say "ok guys, our shuttle is here" and they walk outside and see the LIMO, and I keep my mouth shut!

Mike was really busy last year and he said "can you please arrange the transportation from the hyatt to the port?"

Ok, usually he takes care of all of this ...reservations, transportation, rental cars, dvc accomodations, etc.

But...he put me in charge. All I ever told anyone was "yup, a car will pick us up at the hyatt and take us to the port."

When we walked out of the Hyatt and there was a LIMO waiting they all freaked!!! They couldn't believe it! :)

If he had read the DIS he would have known about it as everyone on the DIS knew.

*come to think of it, I think the Blabbermouth cruise was the SECOND time we had a limo. I think the actual surprise limo ride was the DVC member cruise in 2005. I hate it when one vacation runs into the next. :(

yWhat I hate about formal clothes is you don't feel really comfortable in them, so I am happy to hear you guys don't dress to the nines! Is there time to go back to your stateroom and change between dinner and the show?

Depends on how many desserts you order!! :lmao:

Yes, there is time. I ALWAYS go back and change into comfy (and warmer) clothes. The A/C in the theaters makes me chilly!

hey now!! I saw that!! That's ok though, if Christie read the thread, she'll know who the *really* crazy people are around here!!! *hint...it's not me*

actually, there are instructions on page 1, first post! And if Karen paid ANY attention, she'd know that!! :lmao:

I do pay attention. I just don't go back and read page 1. :lmao: Besides, that post doesn't concern ME anymore b/c my information is in.....I never sent it in, but it's there! :)

Ok, Christi....
so far we've called you Kristi, Christy, Christie, and who knows what else. :)

At least on the ship when we yell out "HEY, Christi!!" You'll know we SAID it right. :)

Yeah! U TOP shared with Kay and some other lady who has a name no one can spell right! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hi,

On my last DCL cruise (matter of fact who am I kidding - my only DCL cruise) formal night was on Monday night and that was our first sea day.

I was seasick that day and I started to take Bonnine. That evening I went to bed after dinner. I actually left dinner early and our server brought dessert up to the room.

I was so out of it I missed my dd6 say, "Welcome to the Golden Mickeys". Luckily I saw the 2:00 show that day and at that show dd6 found out that she needed to stand in line for her chance at fame.

Talk to you guys later. I have so much laundry :laundy: to get caught up with and to think today is my day off.

A bunch of us are going out to lunch for my friend's b-day. My friend is actually going back to work next week after being out for a year to undergo breast cancer treatment.

Kay - she drives to Simi from Santa Clarita everyday. She works at Countrywide mortgage.

OK you guys should get a kick out of this. I live in Chicagoland and while I'm not personally a pro football fan upper management at my company is. So they decided we would have a tailgate party at lunch today (without the booze). The die-hards are in the parking lot playing games and watching one of the games (not sure which) on a tv out there. The rest of huddled in the entrance way where they have the food set up. I grabbed a burger and chips and came back to my office. It is 9 degrees out!

Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking here for a little while and just wanted to let you know that I JUST BOOKED THIS TRIP!!!:cheer2: I have been going back and forth and finally decided to just do it! I called DU this morning.

It will be me, DH and DD princess: (she will be almost 7 on the trip). I hope(!) there will be other children her age on the trip because she is an only child and we always worry (and feel guilty) that she will not have another child to play with.

Okay, now here's my big secret...my DH does not know about the cruise! I am planning on paying for it and scheduling everything and giving it to both of them for a super surprise Christmas gift. :cool1: I don't know if I can keep my mouth shut that long! I'm horrible at secrets, but I really want to make this one happen. And besides, I think that it will be the only way to get him on the ship. He likes Disney well enough (we are DVC members) but he has mentioned that he is getting "WDWed out". I figured the cruise would be a good way for my DD to have all the Disney she wants and loves, but he would have enough cruise amenities to keep him happy, too. Me? I always wanted to take a cruise, always wanted to see the Virgin Islands and I love everything Disney!!! (Okay, now who is this gift REALLY for?????)

Glad to be part of the group!:grouphug:
Christi

Welcome Christi!

From our family it is me, DH (aka MarkRG) and Bear (click on his picture on the web page to find out his story. I'm doing the web page for the group and you can find all the details in post #1.

Glad to have you and your family join us!

Mary,
We live in Pittsburgh and are HUGE Steeler fans, so I totally know what your town is going through today. This entire place was like that for the whole two weeks befor the Super Bowl last year and about 11 months AFTER the Super Bowl.

Our victory parade was the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life so, if the Bears win, LOOK OUT!!!!!!

That is diehard.

They are having a party at Mike's office today too. Cake, streamers, special plates and napkins, gifts.

All this for a GROUNDHOG :confused3 .....and Grandma Riley. :) ;) ;)

I think that's the reason ;)

We are not big NFL fans here. More die hard College football fans especially the OSU Buckeyes! :)

But I am rooting for the Bears.

It's the Bears vs. the Colts.

In my mind, carnivores will always win against herbivores. :) :lmao:

Karen - is Grandma Lightbulb in any of the areas effected by the storms in Florida? She was one of the first people I heard of when I heard the news. Scary!

I went back outside for a little while after I ate but it is just wayyyyyyy to cold out. So I'm back here with you guys. :)

Or you could check the rosters of both teams and see who has the most former buckeyes on it!

posted on the other thread too....but since you asked here.
intitally i didn't think it hit close to her b/c i didn't recognize the names of places as being close to her "lady lake" "volusia county"....

but then i read a drudge article that said "lake county" and "the villiages" and i knew that was by her (two high school students from lake county were killed)

called grandma lightbulb and they are ok. some minor damage in their neighborhood from wind and rain, but nothing like in other areas. she said other areas are HORRIBLE.

the real damage starts about 10 miles away from them! :scared1:
