April 25th It's going to be a Dream

One of my very good friends works for DCL in management role. He sent me email today saying DCL has released VERY discounted rates for our cruise to cast members. I am glad that our cruise won't be over crowded. This is our second cruise on dream, that's been my only concern. The classic ships don't feel as crowded to me. Well.....on the first day then everyone spaces out a little bit.

That's good to hear! I was really worried about cruising this time of year, since I'm used to it being a busy time at the parks. I'm deathly allergic to crowds.

From pics I've seen, I think it is fine for that night - definitely more casual. At least I hope so, because we were planning to that night also!

Nope, it's on all the Disney cruises, although I have heard that more people are apt to dress up in full pirate gear on the longer cruises.

Just reserved the rainforest showers in the spa.

$16.00 for a day pass online. A gift card will be waiting for us in our room apon arrival

Spoke with a cm that stated on deck 3 just after boarding I can go down to "dining sessions" to request a table next to a video screen at the animators palette.

I also got verification that my FE package is sitting in the storage room at the front desk of our hotel just waitin' on us. She also stated there was no damage to the box

Were you able to get any details about where to sign in/drop off luggage at the Hyatt? When I called DCL, they said we had to carry our own luggage to the DME counter, but posts on the DIS say you leave your luggage in the room. I'm hoping someone else got better info than I did!

I had also been told you could leave your luggage at the room and they would pick it up and you just had to tell them when you checked in. I am going to ask the front desk person when we get in - though we do have light luggage (carry on) so I was wondering to myself if we should just take it to the bus ourselves. :-/

We arrive in Orlando at 8:50pm tonight. I am aiming to be out the door and on our way to the DME by 8:45am. Hopefully grab some Starbucks on our way there!

I am so excited Turning 30 tomorrow and going to be wearing my Birthday button we got from Disney World in February.

Thanks - that makes me feel much better! We don't get in until midnight, but hopefully we will still be up bright and early too. What a great way to spend your birthday. I'm sure it will be a very happy one!

Thank you! It's vacation so get some rest. I am just one of those impatient people who is always rush rush rush. I will probably hardly be able to sleep the night before anyway.
