lol!! I wish it were time to start packing. We really start to get excited for our cruise right after the winter break (usually the end of February). We start to have cruise themed get togethers with the other families who are going to really get everyone excited!
We went through AAA last time, Disney was much more expensive. I have read on these boards about a website for insurance. I can't remember the name - We are going to purchase the insurance around the same time we give final payment. Before that you don't need it - you can get a full refund up to 60 days before sail.
Can you guys cross your fingers for us? We were able to get a better rate for the cruise, which we are VERY happy about, but had to cancel our original reservation. We originally had Main dining but with the new reservation we were only able to get Second seating and we're waitlisted for Main.
With a 5 year old and 1 year old, we'll never make it to 2nd seating! On our last cruise DS was asleep by 9 every night. He's used to going to bed at 8-8:30.
Anyone have experience with the waitlist? Last cruise, we had Main seating confirmed and somehow when the final docs came they had us for Second seating. We had to go through a hassle to get back to Main. The DCL CM had to email the Dining Manager on the Wonder, while they were at sea, to get us back to Main before we left for our cruise. We were lucky then, even though it was their fault. The ship wasn't full either which I think helped. My advice, make sure you check the docs very closely when them come!
We've had both seatings. I have never had to change to another seating, but I imagine that Disney will try to switch it for you if they can. Keep your fingers crossed!
Hi everyone! Just got off the phone with the travel agent. We are booked for the April 23, 2005 cruise too! We are very excited. We just returned in May from our 7-day land/sea. Had such a good time, couldn't wait to go back. This time for 7 nights. It will be my husband, myself and our twin boys who are 6.
I usually just erase my old countdown and start over with a brand new one. There's probably a way to just change the info, but that's too advanced for me! LOL
Am I the only one not currently (originally from Bayside) from the TriState area?? We just found out that another family we know will also be on this cruise. They have 3 daughters aged 17, 13, and 4. The oldest girl is on my 15yo's AAU basketball team! So bumps our group up to 20!!
