Good morning fellow cruisers!!! I probably won't do a LOT of stalking today, since we're going out of down later today, so I'm getting things ready. We're heading over to our college for their annual Founder's weekend and my sorority from college is having their 50th anniversary on campus. So, I get to see a bunch of friends from college that I haven't seen in YEARS!!!

But, I will check in a bit later today, and I think that we'll be bringing the laptop with us, so I'll have to check in on my daily DIS fix!! I would be lost without it!!!!

Oh, here's another freaky thing. Wendy, thanks for asking about my hair. I had to laugh, since that is my stylist's name also. I am so not kidding either.

It actually turned out quite well! It's not bright at all. I think it's called sparkling sherry. I am very pleased with it. Just have to remember how much product to put on my now shorter hair to keep it from frizzing out. Actually I like it so well, I might just get the full color done next time in this same shade. DH kept picking on me last night, and he said "just want to see if you already have the attitude of a redhead or not" He's such a character!

Yes! Thanks! I'm glad I checked because I thought I had filled all that out already, but it's not showing my credit card anymore. I'll probably have to resubmit it. And Bill, you threw me for a loop! I couldn't remember seeing anyone on Molli's list with the name Lawton. I kept thinking, "Who are these people, and why aren't they on my list?"

Ok, so it looks like the first tender is at 7:30am. And, Topsiders opens for breakfast that morning at 6:30am. So, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm thinking that if we need to be at Capt Marvins by 8:00am, then we need to probably be on one of the first tenders. So, should be at breakfast by 6:45/7:00am.

That sounds so early, but I'm all for it!

But here's a REAL freaky name similarity. A doctor in my town (whom I send letters to almost every day) is named Bill Lawton! That's why I know I would have remembered someone named Lawton on the list.

I haven't been to Disney since 1999, so I had no idea. At that time we went in August, and it was HOT. But still a great trip! Came home with an awful sunburn though, from too much fun at Blizzard Beach the day before we left.

It is HOT in Sept. when we go too. We've been in June and It was hotter in Sept!!! We still love it though.

August and September are probably the hottest months in Florida. And, it's even hotter in Orlando, since it's the center of the state. We get the advantage of the gulf breeze, so we always stay 3-5 degrees cooler in the summer and 3-5 degrees warmer in the winter.

So this thread has doubled in the past 2 weeks? Really? I just can not imagine why.

I am so bummed the parasailing might be cancelled. DH was really looking forward to it. Sigh. I wonder if any good places offer it in Grand Cayman? Guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed until about a week before we leave, and then check again.

Man, you guys are quiet today. Yesterday I was gone for a few hours & had to read 2 pages to catch up!

I have a camera question. I know there was a discussion on a Nikon camera here. Do you know what model it is? I'm just too lazy to look back through pages. We are looking at a new camera and that one sounded great!!

Wendy, I have Nikon D50. It is fabulous! I bought a refurbished one from eBay, and the lens from there too. I'm on the lookout now for a smaller 50mm lens so I don't have to take the bigger one for just "everyday" shots. I'm definitely no professional photographer, but I want GOOD photos just for display & scrapbooking, and this camera totally does that for me.
