We have our flight arriving on April 6 too! I will be anxiously waiting for a discount. No discount means we will definitely be offsite, maybe even a condo this time. Every year I panic and somehow it ends up working out...

I was wondering the same thing, too! We booked for April 21-28 with a 15% AAA room-only discount, but was hoping for something better.

Has anyone ever had a room or package booked and THEN received a pin?

I actually just called and asked this question because my PIN is only through March 31. I was told that you can modify your reservation and apply a PIN if it becomes available.

I think what I'm more annoyed with is that when I called to make my reservations I asked at the start of the call if I could get my AAA discount and was told yes. After everything had been booked (I did all of the research online and knew exactly what I wanted to so it was easy) and was given the total I asked was that with the discount. At that time I was told I could not get the AAA discount over the phone but if a PIN or promotion was announced I could call back and apply that. Because my flights were booked already i didn't want to lose money by cancelling the reservations. Rooky mistake I guess but it was a costly one.

Gnomegirl .... we will be at the POFQ in the middle of April and I placed our reservations by phone with Disney ... and we were able to get our AAA discount (I believe it was 15%) for each night of our stay. I'm not sure if they have a limited amount of AAA reservations that they take ... but this is the 2nd time that we have used our AAA discount when making reservations with them by phone.

I see where discounts (20%-40% general public and 32%-42% for pass holders) for the first of the year til early April came out on 11/22 of last year. We may be seeing something come along in the next week or so. Gotta watch the website and your emails.

I wonder how Easter will affect any possilbe pins ~ in 2011, Easter was on April 24 and it looks like there were discounts for early April. In 2012, Easter is April 8 ~ do you think pins would still come out for eraly April, or maybe later April?

I just hope to know something soon!

I'm assuming the discounts will be for later April, not the week of Easter.

Interesting! I will call back and ask about this because it will at least cover the BBB

I don't know if it makes a difference, but our reservation was for a REGULAR room -- not preferred or water view.

Wondering if you were trying to book more than a room only reservation....you can get the AAA discount over the phone directly with Disney, but only for a room only reservation....a package (tickets or tickets/dining plan has to be book directly with AAA agent. Maybe this was the reason

We are hoping to go April 11 - 15. It's after Easter, so maybe we'll have a chance at a discount?!!!
