April 2010 - Who is Going?

It's what disr's are supposed to be wearing when they go to Disneyland to show they come here :-) I got mine laminated and strung them on a green shoelace.

We're going from April 10-14 and staying at Paradise Pier - it's our first return trip since our honeymoon 12 years ago (and the kids' first trip at all)! So excited!:woohoo::cheer2:

Hah! What's the odds of two folks from Eugene who have never met posting right after each other on a Disney board about a trip to be made in April? :rotfl:

I have my LGMHs procured from Home Depot...just need to actually see if I can find a laminating machine...

We're going March 31st-April 3rd and we'll be staying at the Desert Inn & Suites. Can't wait!! :thumbsup2

Looks like we are making a second trip to DL, just a month after returning and before going to WDW in Oct. we will be there April 2-4 staying at la quinta inn.

Hi.. Does anyone know where there is available parking around the Good Neighbor Hotels? We are staying at the Desert Inn and have a limit one car parking space and need a place to park our other car overnight. We'd like free parking ofcourse, but if we have to pay for it, we'll do what we have to do. Thank you. Appreciate any suggestions.

Going Apr 6-8 Unfortunately during the heat of Easter Break. But I'll enjoy anyway. Staying at HoJo's. Got a park view room. I hope it is worth the extra $$.

Hello! I am new to this board, but reading all of your posts has me super excited about the first Disneyland trip my family is taking April 24th-30th! My husband and I have both taken one trip each to Disney World when we were kids. But ever since we had our first child in 2002 we have been dreaming about taking our kids to DL! My 7 year old son is dying to experience Jedi Training and Toy Story Mania. My 5 yr old and 3 yr old daughters love all things princess! We are staying at the Anabella, and I'm loving planning our itinerary by scouting out all of your posts!
Here's to dreaming of the most magical place on earth...

WELCOME, MinnieMom76!!! :goodvibes What a magical experience to be going for a first trip! So glad you are here on the DIS!

In a pinch, tape both sides with clear packing tape and then cut it out. I just finished making book marks for my DS that way. It may not last as long but it should work for a trip to Disneyland!

Enjoy! 24 days for us & counting!!!!!

This is sooooo not like us but we have decided to try to squeeze in a last minute (for us anyways! lol) trip to DL at the beginning of the month! :woohoo: We are going to be in DL from April 5th to 8th & we are going to give the Best Western Stovall's Inn a go. Please add me to your list! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

We'll be at Disneyland on the 12th and CA on the 13th as of right now. We have GAD passes we will upgrade and our twins will be 4 on the 16th so this is a birthday trip for them. This is their 4th trip, but the first one that they're really into it and will really get it. We weren't going to do CA, but my kids are into all things Pixar and my son is the biggest Lightning McQueen fanatic there is so we couldn't walk away knowing he's in CA and not go. Our hope is that since we are going the Monday and tuesday after everyone is mostly back in school the crowds will be less. Thoughts?

I think there may still be a decent presence of Spring breakers that week, although it will be less crowded than the week before, but probably not as much as the next week. Still, it's after the big rush. We are coming in Friday of that week, and I am still expecting it to be a bit crowded. We were there the same days last year, and April 20th and 21st is when the crowds seemed to let up for us. :goodvibes

So close! Can't wait.. I'm not sure if I should post this here but since we're all April folks.. I am about to buy my tickets just now :) and was wondering where you all have bought yours? Disney website/Ares/GAD/LMT/Costco? Thanks.

I saw a thread not that long ago with the exact same question. I will look if you can't find it. It was titled "Where do you buy your tickets?" I think
We will have our annual passes but will need to figure out something for our trip in June as they all will expire before then. :headache:
Any word on Easter events anyone?
Good Luck & Enjoy!!! 21 days and counting!
