April 2010 - Who is Going?

Going home today after two days in the parks. The weather was gorgeous-- perfect. The crowds, not so perfect, although CA was far more manageable than DL (as ever). We managed to get a lot done at DL yesterday with GAD FPs. Without them, I'd have been frustrated. Fireworks were delayed a bit due to wind. The main pool at the DLH was hopping, with chairs in short supply. It was also colder yesterday than the day before for some reason, despite yesterday being the warmer day. Goofy helped me get into the Cove Pool one day when I left my sneakers inside and DH had taken the key up to the room-- what a guy! Great time, and I'm sad to be leaving this a.m. Until next time, DLR..!

Yep, crowd levels are high. Today is our last day in DLR, and Monday was the only nice day and that was because of the rain. I bought AP's so we can come during a non-peak time and I can enjoy it more.

I am getting a little nervous about the weather. The upcoming forecast does not exactly inspire confidence for our trip next week! We went during the same week last year and it was ridiculously hot! I guess it's one extreme or another. I hope it warms up!

I know what you mean... I'm from Oregon though, so almost anything is warmer & dryer. I wouldn't mind a day of rain actually, it would keep the crowds away

We are going on Thur April 29th. I am hoping it won't be a crowded day. Since its my kids first time at a Disney Park.

I'm going for one day! I teach in Sacramento, and we have an 8th grade trip that we take each year. We leave Sacramento Wed. at 11pm, drive all night, eat breakfast at Bubba Gump's on Thursday morning, spend all day at the park, and then drive back and get home early Friday morning.

We were supposed to be there on Friday 4/30, but we now have a furlough day, so we'll be at the park all day on Thursday 4/29. It's fewer hours which stinks, but I'm hoping it won't be too crowded.

We (at least 11 people) will be going April 1 to April 4 at HOJO. We will be celebrating DD and DN 5th birthday!!!
