April 2010 - Who is Going?

We're in! We'll be going April 26-30 and staying at the Marriott Residence Inn Anaheim Resort. We are using the AAA 3 day hopper tickets for $149 (just squeeking in by the first use deadline!).

It will be me, DH, DD, DS, DDIL & DGD. First trip for our granddaughter who will be 9mos. My DIL got her the cutest pink w/white polka dot minnie mouse dress at the Disney Store...it is just adorable!

It's been a rough couple of years and we need this trip badly. We are all so excited!

Count me in! My hubbie and I are leaving the rugrat (DD8) with Grandma and flying to sunny California from Indiana on April 17-20 for a getaway for our 9th wedding anniversary. We will be staying at Best Western Stovall's, and I can't wait! I have only been to Disneyland once for about 3/4 of a day when DD was only 3, so this will be a big learning experience for me. My hubbie grew up in the San Diego area and went MANY times as a child, but hasn't been since we went in 2005. I can hardly wait.

Well, we don't rely have any choice in dates, but based on the schedules I've seen, most spring breakers are back in school starting the 12th. it is what it is at this point. we're close enough that we go every year.

So slight change in plans, it looks like I will have both my son's for this trip unless I can come up with an alternate plan for one of them. In a perfect world I would want to take my DS7 first since he is the oldest for some one-on-one time, then in September take my DS5 (his bday month). My hubby is away for the military so I would have to have the son who stay's home, stay with my parent's. Thought process: DS5 will be upset that he doesn't get to go on the first trip. However, I do not think I could handle both kids alone in DL (there are rides we would struggle with in regards to seating, plus bickering between brothers). I think it would be great for them to each get their own trip with mommy, but I just don't know. Someone help me settle my mind....

We will be in Disney from Apr 13 to 18th. After 2 days at Knott's !
We are stying at Buena Park KBF Resort - Apr 11 & 12 - hotwire $49 and Anaheim Ramada Conference Center 13-18 Hotwire $39!!
Got our 5day parkhoppers through AAA for $169 pp. Yay!!

We'll be there April 25 - May 1. We got in on the "Get 2 More Nights FREE with a 3-Night, 5-Day Package". Fabulous deal at DGC.

We haven't told the kids where we are staying so that will be the surprise for the trip. They are working on their countdown chains at 43 days and counting down. We are breaking up the drive down this year in Las Vegas, so hopefully a short morning drive into Anaheim on Sunday!

To get us started in the Disney spirit we are having dinner at Goofy's Kitchen Sunday night and then it's off to the parks for 6 full days of fun!

We purchased ours through Costco. Because we are going during the spring break blackout on deals, they were the best deal.

How much are the 3-day passes at Costco?

I bought a package with a four day park hopper. They are the same as Disneyland. The adults pay the kids price.

We're checking in on April, 27 at the Del Sol Inn and spending two days in the parks. First time at Disneyland and I am soooo excited!!!

Our family of 4 is heading down April 21-27th. We have reservations at Hojos.

We were only able to get the kids suite we wanted for the last four days. Have a Disney view room April 21-23. If anyone out there is cancelling their Kids suite on the 21-23, or wants to swap for a Disney view room, let me know!!!

Hello! I am new to this board, but reading all of your posts has me super excited about the first Disneyland trip my family is taking April 24th-30th! My husband and I have both taken one trip each to Disney World when we were kids. But ever since we had our first child in 2002 we have been dreaming about taking our kids to DL! My 7 year old son is dying to experience Jedi Training and Toy Story Mania. My 5 yr old and 3 yr old daughters love all things princess! We are staying at the Anabella, and I'm loving planning our itinerary by scouting out all of your posts!
Here's to dreaming of the most magical place on earth...

Maybe we'll see each other! I have a 7 year old daughter and a 5 year old son who are both dying to do the Jedi Training. Sadly my daughter told me that she is "over Princesses" (give me a minute to cry here) but she still loves Fairies so I'm sure we'll be checking out Pixie Hollow. It makes me SO glad that we went to Disney 3 years ago when she was right in the middle of her Princess-adoration-phase. Best of all she really believed they were REAL. It was the best. She's getting too wise now. (sniff) But I know she'll still love it!

Can't wait!

Oh and I forgot to mention, we are from Seattle too! Mill Creek to be more precise!
