I got a pin code 20/30/40% off after ordering the Vacation Planner CD for my end of April trip. But, since we are doing Values, it was a better deal to book the $300 gift card deal that came out on the 21st. This was a good deal for me, since we are only staying 6 nights and we were planning on spending more than that on food/souvies.

Last night I called Disney & added the $750.00 gift card to our ressie. I was hoping for the 4/3 deal but the CM I had said that he thinks that deal is done & over with. Still would like the 40% off pin though.

Of course now I am wondering if we can afford to upgrade to AKL??

Ok, now we are ALL SET! First we had booked AKL, with NO discount. That was not in the budget, so we downgraded to POP. Then the GC promo came out so we added the $300.00 GC to our POP package. NOW Happy New Year the 40% code came out and I just called and switched back to AKL (pool view) !!!! NO MORE SWITCHES!!! Anyone else been back and forth??

Yes EASTER is a blackout for that discount also...all discounts so far have EASTER week blacked out..

We had upgraded from POR to Wilderness Lodge with the $750 GC promo. Now we have switched to the new room only promo and it saved us $130.

We weren't really planning on going in April...we were going to go on a trip to aruba, just hubby and I. But with the code that came out yesterday, back to WDW we go (I'm not complaining) Staying at BWV 1 BR...saved 45%!!! HUGE....notice we are getting a 1br, stayed deluxe conceirge there in October, it was great w/the extra room in deluxe..but this way, we have our own room.

I'm also taking a slower trip and not planning on going to the parks everyday, I plan on using Kitchen for afew meals (breakfast and lunch) maybe one dinner that I love to cook...very simple. I want to spend more time at the resort. And gasp...we probably will go to universal one day! They actually have some great ticket deals right now, too.

YES!!! I have been back and forth, back and forth also!
As soon as rates came out in August we booked at the Poly - no discounts, codes, nothing...I have been saving and saving and saving quotes under the 3 email addresses I have a no PIN code was ever sent.

Finally I gave in and decided it was too much and downgraded to CBR in October.

With the new general public code - I called and switched us back to the Poly and saved $956.20 from our original quote in August. I was dancing all around the house yesterday with excitement!!!!


Still thinking of doing a little more switching and cancelling the dining plan so we can upgrade to a Theme Park View or Garden View Club Level!

Mom2Brooke, Poly is beautiful! One of my boys keep asking to stay there, but that is not in the budget! I could never drop the dining, it helps to have it all included. Only thing I would like to switch is go from 2 queens to the queen/bunk beds. But that is more $$$. AKL here we come

It bothered me for a long time that no discounts so far have been offered for the week of Easter, then I decided not to worry about it, we are going either way...

It will be me, my oldest dd, her husband, their son (my grandson), and another grandson(he belongs to my middle daughter but she is not going with us)...

We have the quick service dinning plan, but we are going to do lunch at RainForest Cafe DTD and dinner at T-Rex DTD, I made reservations for those two yesterday...

I started yesterday making a packing list of things we are gonna need, things I need to start picking up while I am out n about shopping, so that it doesn't have to be done all at once...

Trust me I WOULD LOVE some sort of discount, but as of right now doesn't look like its gonna happen...

Can ya tell I am beginning to get a lil excited, LOL...I haven't been since 2004, my son n law and his son have never been, other grandson has been and my daughter has been...so we are gonna have first timers with us, and my grandson who has been, his Dad leaves a week from today for Iraq, so trying to keep him busy and mind off Dad...

Have a wonderful trip - I have to start thinking like you . We are going no matter what but a better price would make it that much sweeter. I have dreamed for eyars of getting one of those illusive pins. I have never gotten one. We really want to go back at x-mas 2010 so a pin would be great for that purpose. We can afford one rack rate trip a year but for sure not two. If we want to go at x-mas we need a deal.

My spring break is Easter week, so that is when I have to go. This is a celebration for my younger daughter's 16th birthday. At the moment, I'm going to have to settle for AsMu. If some decent code would come out, I could upgrade to a mod. I'm still secretly hoping to pick up points to rent, but I know that is highly doubtful for Easter week. Oh well, AsMu is our favorite value, and value Disney is better than no Disney any day!

I am in the same boat as many of you looking for the elusive Easter time discount The only thing so far that I have been able to find is a AAA discount. It took 10% off my reservation. Not much, but better than nothing . Still keeping my fingers crossed.
