April 2010 code watch?!

Do you mean if we book now for April and a deal comes out later we can apply the deal to our booking after the fact? :yay: Is there a fee for the change?

We plan to book a complete package, hotel, tickets and Disney Dining Plan.
:surfweb:

Yes, you may book a compete package for April and if a deal comes out, all you need to do is call Disney tell CM ya want to apply the deal to your booking, they will do it, of course you are looking to save...if your booking is paid in full they will issue you the difference back, if you booking is not paid in full they will adjut the payment deal ...easy easy...

Keep watching...

THANKS!:jumping1::jumping1:

We are also hoping for an April deal!! I am optimistic they will NOT have any black outs over Easter, due there not being any blackouts over MLK and Presidents week. We would like to arrive 4/09 or 4/10 and grab a 4/3 deal. This will probably be our last trip for a while due to some VERY big tuition bills for High School.

Has the 7/4 deal been offered in the past for Easter? We are looking at 4/1-4/5 (Easter is the 4th).

What happened to the poor April 2010 thread?? :wave2:

We are still waiting and hoping...reading of all the people receiving PIN codes for April - June but nothing for us :headache:

We went ahead and booked POR for the week of April 10-17...now we need a deal! :woohoo:

I am now teaching in New Hampshire which has its vacations one week later than when I was teaching in Massachusetts :woohoo: April vacation has always been too crowded for me to think of going but now it would be perfect :goodvibes I am planning on going from April 23rd to May 2nd. Think I will book French Quarter now hoping the 4/3 deal gets extended :wizard: If there are no deals for that time, I will re-book for All Stars Sports. Last year I booked our vacation in November before the 4/3 deal was extended to include our dates. I called Disney and they adjusted the price with no problem, even kept the same reservation number. So even if I book now, I know I can adjust the price when, not if, :thumbsup2 they extend the deal longer. I would love to see the Flower and Garden Festival :flower1:

I recieved a pin code in mhy email and it was for my grandmother...URGH! She traveled w/ us for a couple of trips but that was 3 years ago. I'm so frustrated. I really want to try a new resort this time. After the crowds and weather the first week in Oct. I'd like a more "laid back" resort. Here's hoping.

Still....waiting....here....!!! I feel helpless with depression!:) It's so hard to wait huh?

I just applied our AP pin code to April reservation from 14-21st... Got Polynesian!! Woohoo!!

For those of you wanting great discount over Easter week try **********************.com They have great discounts on some deluxe resorts. I got a quote but decided it was going to be too crowded that time. Discount was better than my AP rate during peak season.:thumbsup2

Just received an email from Disney with a PIN - 30% off value, 35% off moderate, and 40% off deluxe (percentage off the rack rates, I imagine).
Valid basically until June 12 (except a handful of specific dates).

Not sure whether to take advantage of this, or keep with my original plan of staying off-resort at Bonnet Creek...even with the discount, Bonnet Creek still works out cheaper than a Moderate.

Too many decisions! anyone else receive a similar offer?

I am taking my dd (then 9) to our first trip to Disney April 2010. How do you get on a list to get a PIN? We live in North Dakota. I have reservations for CS but would love to upgrade to something more special.

Thanks for the recommendation - I'm going to check them out! If Disney releases a 4/3 deal though, do you think they would switch it if it was cheaper?

I have not received a PIN.... I'm so envious of all of you that get these PIN codes!!!

Last week I signed up for a Disney DVD and filled out the questionairres and than went on Disney site and did a Disney video and a any thing I could sign up for and we just got a 40% off pin code yesterday :banana: I had read that someone else had signed up for a Disney DVD and got a pin e-mailed so I tried it and for some reason I got one.

We already had a reservation at the Poly but this pin just saved us close to $1500 on our room...believe me my dh is doing a happy dance now :cool1:

good luck, hang in there, I'm sure Disney is going to offer something even if it's not the pin code.

We just got our PIN via an email. :thumbsup2

Does anyone know if you book a “Vacation Package”, room, tickets & meals, if the discount is still applied to your room?

Oh - that's my question too! Has anyone had any luck?

We already had a Vacation Package through a TA booked, with DDP and tickets and resort and we just called our TA and she called Disney for us and had it applied to our resort. Disney than e-mailed us the new price for the package that's due.

I got this same pin, but half of our planned vacation days are not covered with the restricted dates. Soooo....after crunching the numbers, we are probably going to pass on Disney this year. Last year we got a great deal in Nolvember that we used for April 09'. If that happens again in November, it might change things. It does make a really great Christmas present for the family. We even got a phone call from Mickey Mouse Christmas morning telling the family!!!

I got my first pin! It's the 30% off one and it will save us some money for sure! So excited LOL

just booked april 25 - May 1st

The pin I got allowed me to add an extra day and still save about $300!

OMG - I have 3 e-mails that I use w/ Disney that I've been saving April vacas on, ordering the vacation planner, and finally a few days ago ordered maps w/ one of the e-mails saying I was interested in April and today I got my PIN! It goes all the way from Jan to Dec 2010 w/ dates for discount rooms, no expiration date on the PIN. We are already going Dec 15-21 this year and I was worried, I was not going to get that PIN everyone is talking about for our April trip.

Last year, I got a PIN for April for kids stay and play free over Easter. It was DD last year to use it! I had free dining PIN for this Dec, but went w/ the room discount ($90/day for MOd resort) offered by a Disney code b/c it worked out cheaper for us since there is just two of us going. So, I already know this PIN is a good deal for us.

DD's April school vacation is the 3rd week in April and the PIN covers that, so we'll be all set. Yeah! I can't wait to book it!

:yay::woohoo::cool1:
