I love the idea of being able to add our own family to the graphic - under that shower of pixie dust.
Not sure if i'm up to the fish extender thing either. will probably decide next month.

And I think you guys are right... I love the idea of our own families with the standard Showers of Happiness picture. I did up an example using my family

I'll be happy to go ahead and do one of these for anyone that wants it. Just let me know your family name and for each family member let me know if they're male or female and how old they are (I made my kids about 80% the size of Dad and I becuase they're teenagers but younger children could be smaller). I'll make the graphic and provide a link to the graphic on my photobucket account. You'll be responsible for printing it (as I can't afford the printer ink ).

Looking forward to doing these if you guys want them.

Hey, how did you make the kids different sizes. Can you make my daughter bigger. When I was showing her the T-shirt design, that was her biggest complaint. If I post our T-shirt design in PhotoBucket, can you change that part for me before I print the shirts? That would be awsome!

Ahh the joys of siblings. I'm not sure if I'll be able to or not... in the photo I got from you the other day I could do it because the background's still white. If you've changed the background, that could make it a bit difficult. Why don't you go ahead and post your t-shirt design and I'll see what I can do.

BTW... how much bigger? How much older than your son (if memory serves?) is your daughter?

Oh, you have no idea what her face looked like. Then again maybe you do! I TRIED to explain that I couldn't change it but no words could fix it. She is going to be soooooooooooo happy. I'll have her thank you personally on the ship! The sizes are perfect! Thanks again, Supermommy!

So far, all I can remember is;

• The meet at the restaurant the night before we leave (can't remember the name). It's a dinner meet but that's all I can remember right now.
  
• The 2pm meet for us DISsers in the Promenade Lounge on Saturday
  
• Marion and Michael are getting married on the 21st
  
• My birthday is on the 21st. I won't say which, but let's just say that I've finally figured out that having birthdays beats the alternative. I plan to party in the lounges most of the night becuase it'll be like going to my prom again but this time with the proper Prince Charming (although he says he gets the appellation King Charming becuase he's not going to be demoted to Prince).
  
• I think a couple of the kids have birthdays and I'd like to find out when they are so maybe I can make sure to put something in their fish extender for their birthday.

I can't remember anything else... anyone... am I forgetting something?

What excursions, activities etc has everyone planned for the different ports?

In Key West I think we're just going to walk around a bit. Not sure what we're doing in Grand Cayman. In Cozumel we plan to do the Tulum Ruins excursion. Anyone done that? Pointers/tips for a newbie? In Castaway Cay I plan to have some time relaxing on the adult beach and I believe we're going to do parasailing and maybe the banana boat.

I haven't been on this thread in ages, but I wanted to say we booked our flights this week so it's all seeming more real! For the first time ever, we are arriving the day of the cruise, so let's hope that all goes well. We're also in for a night at WL post-cruise, which we're looking forward to since we've never stayed there.

Is anyone else gty on this cruise? We're in a Cat 4 gty and are very nervous about the location we'll get and keep checking to see if they assigned us a cabin. I really don't want to be under the Mickey or Goofy pool because then I know I'll hear complaints about the noise from my husband all week. (BTDT unfortunately) I heard they have sometimes assigned gty rooms as early as 90 days out, but usually 30. Anyone else waiting on this?

We started as a GTY but were assigned a stateroom very shortly afterwards.

Believe me the nick was purely out of necessity-but now my kids are grown
so I only "rules" on holidays when everyone comes home

In Cozumel we plan to do the Tulum Ruins excursion. Anyone done that? Pointers/tips for a newbie?

I did the Tulum Ruins in October with a different cruise line. It is a long day –all day. You get a boxed lunch. You have to take a ferry to the mainland which can be very rough. I saw several people getting sick. It is a 30 – 40 minute ride. Once on the mainland you have a 10 minute walk to the buses. The buses stop half way to the ruins at a tourist trap – local shop. My mother and I enjoyed it but if my kids had done it they would not have appreciated the history. There is a nice beach it is small no place to really change(The nearest restrooms is a hike away) no chairs or anything like that so wear a bathing suit underneath. It October it was close to 100 degrees and really not much shade. On the website DCL says “Not recommended for children under 8 years of age.” I think we might do Xcaret this time.

It is the Mickey stick figrue shapes. We had the same problem on our last cruise shirt. They are really strict about copyright infrigements.

Yep, folks have to be careful about copyright infringment with Disney. But you can go down to your local Walmart and get some t-shirt transfer paper and print it out. Do you have a color printer?

Hi Girls,
It's getting close and I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer for me.
1. My husband and I want to have a dinner at Palo but I don't wnat the kids to miss anything cool, like Pirates night. Does anyone have the itinerary of the themes going on for the regular dinners?? Maybe the brunch would be a better idea?
2. Do I need to pre-register the kids for the clubs on line before I go.
3. Is there a shuttle from the boat to the airport for when we get back? I didn't so the disney shuttle because we are getting there a couple days early. Can the disney shuttle be booked one way if there isn't another shuttle.
4. Do you think it would be cheaper to rent a car or take taxis from the airport to the theme park and then to the hotel and then down to the cruise or rent a car?? I know it is hard to know but does anyone have any thoughts!!

I don't have much in the way of answers from you but in terms of renting a car, don't forget that you also have to park. If memory serves, it's about $84 to park for the time we'll be gone.
