April 19, 2008 - Western - VERY Early Roll Call - Anyone??!!

Had my knee surgery today, all went well, now I get the family to wait on me for a change.Howlong do you think I can milk this for?:lmao:

Well, let's see..... "You guys surely don't want me to have trouble on the cruise and that's only 70s days away, so I need to heal. I know you want me to heal well so please do XXX for me." Sounds reasonable and valid to me!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Angie, I agree with Tinkified -- get rid of the scale and only use a tape measure. Muscle weighs more than fat but looks sooooooo much better.

My diet's not going so well. It's just a will power thing. I do so well at work and get home and eat and eat and eat and eat. Need to find something to do to keep me busy but I'm so tired when I get home that all I want to do is veg in front of the tv and eat. Of course, that's what got me to looking like a theater curtain too so I know I have to stop.

Okay, I took the plunge yesterday and cut my hair for the Locks of Love program. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All my hair is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lady that did it for me cut 10 inches for the program and then had to shape and even it. It feels so short even though it's still below my shoulders. It's definitely going to take some getting used to. As soon as Jim noticed it last night he started hollering "where is it?" and ran out into the living room to see if I lost it there. Then he ran outside to see if it was left there. He was looking for lost treasure :rotfl2: I know I did the right thing and that the babies that don't have hair need it more than I do but...... oh, my long hair is gone, gone, gone. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Myself, and my family will be participating in the Fish Extender.

If we could, can we message all of those on the list for accurate update if they will be participating in the Fish Extender...

Also...
Please add this to the spreadsheet...
They are cruising seperate, but part of the family...

DH Michael, DW NoraLee, Olivia 6
Beachwood, NJ
Arrival 4/19
Also participating in fish extender...

I would need their cabin number so participants can drop off the items. Unless they will be dropped off in yours. In that case, put both families names on your extender.

I will add their room number as soon as we get them. Please add them to the spreadsheet. TIA.

I ws going to but then one of the ladies at the office talked me into going ahead and doing it. She did the cutting and I'm learning to like it. I'll post pics as soon as I can.

Denise, What a wondeful thing you did, :cutie: but do you feel a little naked? I will definetely try your suggestions. Maybe we can get them to do some chores too:laundy:

My apologies to DisneyDavo if it is not you and my apologies to whomever it is that I may be forgeting!

Catch ya all later! Michelle[/QUOTE]

Yeah, my hands are feeling a bit lost. I keep running my fingers through my hair and being surprised at how quickly I run out of hair.

What suggestions? I'm forgetting now

Chores are always a good thing!!! At least that's stuff I don't have to do.

You go girl! We want to see pictures! I know you took some! :lmao: When I did it, I felt naked but I love that it only takes me 20 min. to do my hair now!!!

Good for you HYPERMOMMY!!! You must feel really good inside to give to such a good cause. I know my Victoria did when she donated her hair and I was so proud:lovestruc .

Just a word of warning! I read on another thread that Thrifty is now charging $15 for a rental with a different drop off site than the pick up. I know alot of us have one way rentals, so just heads up.

I have no idea how to send in a photo.:surfweb: I am computer illiterate. Any help out there?

Hypermommy: I apologize for not commenting/congratulating you sooner...I thought I had until I read previous posts of mine. Congratulations on doing something beautiful. Even if you don't feel beautiful on the outside yet...ie...not used to your new look...your beautiful spirit and giving heart shines through making you beautiful to all!

Wdhinn: as far as pictures go....open up your email program..address a draft to hypermommy...put your cursor into the body of letter and then go up to the tool bar on top and click insert...there will be dropdown list..click on picture..click on picture from file...it will bring you to pictures you have on your computer..(oh, this is all assuming that you have photos stored on your computer somewhere). click open in that box and it will attach your photo to your mail. I always send a cc to myself to make sure it does what it is supposed to do. Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing your faces on the new site.

Hello everyone! I was just wondering if anyone will be going to Universal before the cruise?

Colleen
I thought about it, but Universal is very slow at adding new attractions. I think I'll hold of visiting again until the new Harry Potter land opens in 2009. I did plan on checking out the new Sea World water park, Aquatica, sometime the week before.

Hi Colleen. We thought about universal more than once..but we have free tickets to use at WDW (rainchecks from MNSSHP and unexpiring passes), so if we were to do a park it would definately be @ WDW...with our first choice being MK because of our DD age but the 18th is a grad night @ MK so the park isn't even open for the full day then. That said and everything else taken into consideration, we have decided to do R & R at our hotel for the day with the precruise meet dinner at FISHLIPS..we are renting a convertable from MCO, planning on doing the pool..maybe walking on the beach, dinner and a decent bed time to get to the port nice and early. We missed all the pre-boarding fun. We arrived @ 4:45pm last March as they were completing the Muster drill, missed lunch and we were starving. Being late was no fault of our own, but nonetheless not what we had envisioned as our start to our vacation. For that reason, we are flying down the day before from now on!

Happy Sunday all...one more weekend down...this might just be the only time I am happy to see a weekend end...it means we are that much closer to sailing on the magic! YEAH! :cheer2:
