April 19, 2008 - Western - VERY Early Roll Call - Anyone??!!

Hi everyone. :wave2:
I'm here waiting with ya.:rolleyes1
I was checking out my ressie on the DCL site at 11pm and it showed that my kids were eligible for online check-in. I got so excited, but when I went to click on it, it disappeared.:sad2:
I guess they are preparing and had it up for a second.
Half hour to go.:surfweb:
I will post when I get everything booked. Good luck everyone.:grouphug:

Waiting with you too. Let's hope we all get what we are hoping for! I'd hate to think I stayed up for nothing!

1 hour to go and counting. :bored:

We are leaving on the 18th also. Staying at the Hyatt and then renting a car and heading to the port in the morning.

Have fun booking, you guys! If you find something already booked up, please let us poor 75-dayers know so we can make alternative plans :rotfl:

Do you all think things will be booked up by tonight? With as many excursions and days on the cruise and the few numbers with the 105 day window it seems they will have plenty of room. This is our first cruise as Castaway Club members but I wonder what the percentage of guest on the boat are CC members vs. first timers. I guess we'll see pretty soon.

Last time I was a 1st timer and was so worried about everything booking up. It ended up being fine. I got everything. PALO was the only issue as they did not have alot of slots open, but I got it. :thumbsup2
I really believe they hold a certain amount of ressies for 1st timers and for cruisers who want to book onboard.
You also have to take into account the cruisers that book and then cancel 24hours before the cruise. Slots open up at the last minute.:wizard:

That being said, I will post again shortly. :cool1: :woohoo: :yay:

No luck for me. I got a message that said I had either not provided a birthdate for each member (not true, it's on the check-in page) or had not paid in full- also not true. So, so sad!::confused3

We got the same message and it's not true for us either. What really annoys me about this is that it happened on our cruise last February too. And back then you had to be up at 3am Eastern time to book. I didn't actually get up then because I was way too tired and my son was up around 5:30am everyday anyway, but a bunch of DISers did and couldn't book anything. And then nothing could be sorted out till around 10 or 11am on Monday morning, when the DCL tech people came to work. And waiting that extra 1.5 days was a killer cause you had no idea when things would open up to book, you just had to keep checking.

Just kinda irks me that on 2 of 4 cruises in the past year there has been a problem booking at the 90 day mark. Obviously I expect a glitch every now and then, but geez, why is it always my cruise!

I got the same message.
However, I signed out of my laptop and came down to the pc and re-signed in and it worked.
Booked Brunch at PALO for Sunday, 10am.
Booked PALO dinner for Tues. night, 8pm.
Booked Pirate excursion for GC at 11:45am.
Booked Dolphin Encounter for Coz at 10:45am.
Also registered the kids for the clubs. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Sign in again and try. Good luck. :thumbsup2

I was able to get in too but when I tried to register my daughter it kept showing Page cannot be displayed. Now I can't even get on the site.

Anty question on your Palo brunch reservation. I notice all my confirmation numbers begin with my reservation number followed by a dash and another number but my Palo res has a different number in the beginning, not my resevation number. How is yours. Thanks, let me know.

I reserved:
Palo brunch on Monday at 11:30
Bottom Fishing at Castaway Cay at 9:30
3 Dolphin Discovery and 1 Observer at Cozumel at 9:45

got same message signed out and logged back in with no problem. Got everything we wanted (didn't try Palo). I was bummed about not being able to book two excursions back to back at GC. I wanted to snorkel before we went on the mid-sub tour but they wouldn't let me. I guess the 20 minute break between wasn't enough. May try to do it on my own later in the day.

Yes, my ressie #'s are the same as yours. PALO is different. I am glad this is done. One less thing to worry about.:woohoo:

Make sure you hit that submit button on the bottom. I know someone who thought they booked but it didn't get confirmed since she didn't hit submit.

I was able to get my brunch and dinner for Palo's. Now I am going to bed!

I just logged out, maybe that will leave room for someone else. Here is our official list of what we are doing:

GC 8:00 am - Seaworld Explorer semi-sub tour
GC ???? On my own shipwreck and reef snorkeling?

COZ 10:45 am - Dolphin Discovery observer (for access to Chankanaab National Park as none of us are swimming)

CC 2:00 pm - Stingray Adventure
CC All Day - Snorkel equipment rental

We're pretty pumped (at least I am everyone else is asleep).

Whew:scared: I was afraid I got someone else's confirmation number. Thanks for the reply. I'm glad everything is done too. Now just sit back and hope 3 months go by REALLY quick:thumbsup2

Whoa, you guys were busy last night.3 pages to catch up.
I got up a little earlier this morning and got everything I wanted.
Palo on Thursday at 7.30 and Tulum in Cozumel.
Great, one thing less on my to-do List.
Hypermommy, congrats on your win, thats wonderful. If you could make one sign without any person in it,that would be wonderful. Thanks for all your work.

Have a great sunday
Conny:flower3:

Conny - we'll see you at Palo - though I think our reservation is earlier, as I tried to time it with the sunset. (Yes, I went and looked up sunset in each location on each day. I may not be hyper but I sure am organized. So now if hypermommy and I got together we'd be unstoppable! :lmao:)

I also went into a party store on a whim yesterday with my parents (out to lunch while working on a project back hom in Boston) and had a lot of fun with DDad making him try on pirate hats. Finally picked a faux leather brown tricorn looking thing that DH has actually agreed to wear! :thumbsup2

And (it was a very good day!) later on we met up with friends of DH who said they had worn tuxes on their cruise. So now he has consented to the tux as well!

I have a question about making online reservations. When do those get charged to your card? Is it when you make the reservation? Thanks.
