April 17, 2016 Magic Eastern cruise meet

Hi, just booked this cruise a week ago while onboard the Magic. Had such a great time we decided to book the same ship and week again for next year. We did a western this year so excited for the eastern itinerary with Tortola next year. This will only be our 3rd Disney cruise (Fantasy, Magic), but we've done 20+ cruises on other lines as well. Decided to the the Magic again because it felt so much less crowded than the Fantasy. We did miss the AquaDuck, but the AquaDunk on the Magic is fun as well.

We are a family of 4 from Seattle. I will be cruising with my DW and 2 DD's (9 and 5 at time of sailing). We are hoping some other family might join as as well.
We were also on the April 19, 2015 western Caribbean cruise and rebooked onboard for this one.

Wow, small world. We had actually planned to do the Fantasy again next year, but it was doing the same western itinerary that week that we were just on. So, ended up booking this eastern itinerary on the Magic instead. This years cruise on the Magic was fantastic so I am sure next years will be as well.

Just booked a 4 day trip to DLR in October. So excited for the 60th stuff, plus never been to the parks for Halloween before.

So is anyone else getting impatient that there are no excursions listed yet for Tortola? I'm a "Planner" and this frustrates by goals. I'm trying to read up on the BVI and figure out what there is to do, whether through Disney or privately. Has anyone in our sailing been to Tortola before?

Hi...I haven't posted in this thread yet, but I've been subscribed for some time now. I'm cruising with my DW and DS age 10 at sailing.

I'm not impatient about the Tortola port adventures, but I did check the other day to see if any had been posted yet. We have not been to Tortola before.

Hi

I am a newbie to disboards. Just booked this cruise, so excited!!! There are 12 of us going all for our first Disney cruise. We have 4 kids coming my DS 13 DD 8 and two nieces 11 and 9. Can't wait to get advice and info from all of the expert cruisers

I've been there before, but it was a long time ago. If I remember correctly there isn't a whole lot to do in Road Town itself. Many of the excursions go to the neighboring islands of Yost Van Dyke or Virgin Gorda (The Baths).

Not at all worried about booking excursions at this point. Probably start looking at them around December when we get a few weeks out from actually being able to book them.

Hello everyone! My sister and I will be on this cruise. This will be our first time on the Magic. We are very excited! So far we have done 3 cruise. We have one booked for Oct this year, so this cruise will make our 5th.

We booked this cruise while on the April 19 Magic this year! It will be me, DH, DS(19), DD(17), and DD(13). We are so excited to go back on the Magic again! We loved the Western and are looking forward to trying the Eastern Carribean this time!

I was excited to choose this cruise since it's one of three Easterns the Magic is doing out of Port Canaveral next year. We sailed on the Magic earlier this year and it was only doing Westerns from PC.

Wow, I think you are at least the 3rd person who was also on the 4/19 sailing this year. We've done a couple westerns in a row now so also looking forward to doing another eastern.

I've noticed a few on here that were on the 4/19/15 Magic... must be addicting! That was our first cruise and we loved it!

Hi, everyone. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My family just signed up for this cruise yesterday; we are so excited. This is our second Disney Cruise. We live in MA and look forward to what we hope will be a mild winter this year!

Hey all, another day closer!

I just wanted to mention that I made a quick post in the April 3rd Meet and Greet thread asking if any kind soul on that cruise would be willing to save their Navigators and then scan and email them to me after their cruise is over. That group is the first cruise on this itinerary and I would love to be able to get an early start on planning :)

If I get someone who does that, I'll share them here with us all!

Counting the days until this cruise! Booked it on the Magic in August while on a Mediterranean cruise with DH. That trip was just the 2 of us to celebrate our 45th anniversary but this trip will be more of a family affair! DH and I are taking our DD, DSIL, and 4 DGC. The DGC include a 9 year old boy and almost 5 year old triplets (2 girls and a boy). Looking forward to meeting and making lots of new friends!

And I've already heard back, a fellow Wisconsinite has offered to scan and send me their Navigators! As soon as I get them, I'll send them to Scott @ http://disneycruiselineblog.com/per...disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/ and I'll also either upload them here or host them on my webhost and link them for everyone!
