My picture doesn't seem to be working so I re-typed some of the info.

I thought we'd meet in the smaller clubs due to noise levels and move to the bigger ones. The last night may be iffy with the whole packing issue.

I'll be there early at 10:45 with a flyer in the middle of the table.

Any thoughts so far?

But I'm the one that's going crazy :scared1: . I'm so used to being by myself most of the time since he works third shift, 6 nights a week. I have to change my entire routine when he's home. :headache:

Too funny!! My DH used to works nights too and I got so used to my night routine and having our great big comfy bed to myself. When he switched to days, he really had a hard time getting me to sleep on my side of the bed since I was so used to sleeping diagonally across the whole bed :rotfl::rotfl:

ok, so what DO you do for a living Deb?? 3 cruises in one year?? I don't think we'll be needing a list for that unfortunately.

:rotfl:

I plan to hit the lottery! :rotfl2:

In the meantime, I neeeeeeed a spring break cruise to rest and rejuvenate, so that is always cruise #1. :goodvibes Then, I'm booking a dummy reservation in hopes that DCL comes out with another Baltic itinerary. The second dummy reservation is "just in case" something irresistible comes up.

DCL's onboard booking discount, reduced deposit, and OBC are too good to pass up. We booked the 4/17 cruise while onboard last spring break, then we booked the 4/21 cruise as an afterthought while onboard last July in the Baltics. But, we didn't book a dummy cruise and ended up needing one for DD's cabin on the 4/21 cruise. :sad2:

OMG, We are closing on our house here in Maine today. Finally thank goodness. I am very happy but there is so much to be done.

I am freaking out! We are moving all but essential clothing, stuff out of the rental, I have to clean that, clean the new house and the moving truck comes this Tuesday. I just do not understand how I am going to get all of this done! There is clothing everywhere! Some on the truck and some here, yikes:scared1:

Congratulations! I hope your closing went well and you are making progress on the final move.

I wrote a while ago that a guy who worked with my husband was going on our cruise but it turned out he was going on the carnival dream? Who dares to have a different ship named the dream!:cutie: Whats wrong with that schmuck he doesn't know what ship he is on????:lmao:

:rotfl:

Deb T. How is the wedding planning coming? Will you make your deadline by the cruise and sail worry free??!!:rotfl: Knowing how organized you are I am sure you will.

It's definitely a "process". Thanks for asking! For as much as I am "organized", DD is a just as much a procrastinator. So, there will still be loose ends when we set sail. Too bad I'll be isolated on the Dream and won't be able to do any wedding stuff that week! ;) :lmao:

Last year I re-booked a cruise on the ship because I was so depressed at the thought of leaving the boat. It really did help. I know I cannot do that this year what with our new house but already I have talked myself out of that!!!:cloud9: The deposit is not that much and I guess I can always cancel!

It does help to have the next cruise booked!!! :thumbsup2

Happy packing y'all! If you get stressed just think of us meeting at 2:00pm on the first day, happy, warm and excited!:wizard:

:grouphug: CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :grouphug:

I will not join the FE Group....I will not join the FE group...I will not join the FE group.....BUT I REALLY WANT TO!

LOL :rotfl2: :lmao: we will not try to influence your decision... :snooty:
but BOY OH BOY IS IT GONNA BE FUN!!!!!!! the excitement of finding awesome little prizes waiting for you every time you go back to your room!!! exploring the new beautiful ship while playing FE fairy and dropping off gifts!!! ... but like i said...no peer pressure here... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

oh...just so you know...tomorrow is the last day to sign up ;) heeheehee

Thanks, mommybean, for the head's up that the last day to sign up for the FE Exchange is tomorrow, April 1st... no fooling! :)

Sorry about the flurry of posts... I've had a crazy busy day and could hardly wait to get back on our thread!!

DH's surgery was very quick yesterday - in and out of the surgery center in about 45 minutes. I almost laughed when he walked out and said he was done. He can take the bandage off tomorrow and keep a bandaid on it and has to keep it totally dry until the stitches are removed in 2 weeks.

Speedy recovery! Glad he's home and all went well! :grouphug:

Don't question where the grumpy hubby went - take the rebooking hubby onboard with you. :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Toooooo funny!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2:

Really glad your Hubbie came through so well. Please tell him we are wishing him well:)

So I was in The UPS store today - had to return some shoes to Zappos (of course)! Anyway - got to talking with the girl there about shipping a box to the hotel in FL and making sure it got there when I requested. Then I noticed these boxes they sell called luggage shippers. There was a small for $12.50ish and a large for $17.50ish. They had a plastic handle built into the box, really cool. So I asked her about the box. She said they were good to pack stuff in and ship somewhere and the handle made them easier to carry. I think it is a good idea for packing up my FE's and shipping to the Country Inn & Suites. Plus we would have that luggage box for the end of the cruise to pack up all the FE gifts... Just thought I'd share...
Just got home from Appliance Land! Went to buy a new Range and over the oven microwave and ended buying them plus a dishwasher. Sale was really good and GE Profile is having a rebate. So if we bought the two it would be $100 rebate but adding the third gives us $300. Everything will be installed next Friday! So excited. Have been wanting a new range and microwave for two years now. They range and microwave are a Christmas (2010) gift from my parents so we only had to pay for the diswasher. The microwave has a convection oven in it so I can get rid of my cruddy old toaster oven. My mom has the same microwave and she loves it - says she can make chicken nuggets, pizza, etc... in it just fine. Doesn't miss here toaster oven. She just bought a regualar toaster - which is what we will do now.
Finally - think I may be headed back to the "World" three weeks after the end of our cruise. So maybe my depression won't be so bad. DH is officially going to a conference the 2nd week in May at the Hyatt Grand Cypress and since Connor & I are going to buy AP's for WDW while we are there after the cruise, now DH is onboard with us going with him. The hotel is paid for, our tickets will have been paid for with the AP's, so it's just the airfare. I keep telling myself not to get too excited yet....Fingers crossed that this all works out!!
Debbie

WPoohGirl - Congrats on the closing!! Good luck with all the final cleaning and moving.

Jilljill - Glad to hear your husband's surgery went well. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Pershing - great plan for the nightclub tour! Hope I can stay awake for it and I really want to convince my Mom to come out too!

bdink - I think I am going to book a dummy cruise while onboard and since I am not bringing my DH with me - he'll never know...until I feel it's time to let him know. That is how I work things when Disney is involved. He feeds my Disney addiction but with lots of eye rolling and likes to think he is putting his foot down but it never works. I book trips without him knowing when I find good deals and then wait for the right time to bring it up, wait for the approval and then let him know the trip is booked! I have a Disney Visa in my name only and it is my card to make purchases that I don't really want scrutinized - shoes, clothes, shoes, Disney, purses, some more shoes, etc...

So excited to meet all of you...two weeks from today I will hopefully be in a hotel in GA!!
Debbie

OMG - I did it again, I have to work it out with my DD - she does not have a computer and uses mine, and I keep forgetting to check if she logged out :lmao:

help!! yesterday I tried to add my daughter to the stingray adventure. I also cancelled her and I from parasailing but I did not calcel my son. Now it is saying I have one saved activity- stinray and it wont show me who, it also will not allow me to book other excursions. any idea what to do?

OMG, We are closing on our house here in Maine today. Finally thank goodness. I am very happy but there is so much to be done.

Congrats!!!!

That is so great to hear!!!

Pershing: I am really looking forward to the nightclub tour!!! Thanks so much for organizing it.

Not too much longer! YIPPEE!!!

Thank you I genuinely appreciate that!

So, if I may reiterate for clarity, you can book on the cruise for any date just to hold and then if you find that they are running a special you can switch to that date and still get the 10% ? They will allow more than one discount? Wow! I have always booked everything myself, do you use a TA? I am stalling by the way, do not want to face the rest of the packing of the house!;)

So excited to meet all of you...two weeks from today I will hopefully be in a hotel in GA!!
Debbie

Me too, it is the only thing I have to cling to in all this confusion.

IT IS SNOWING LIKE MAD HERE....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Congrats on the house closing, the successful surgery, the new lists for DH's.....:rotfl: So much going on here, I can hardly keep up with everyone.

Is anyone going to the parks after the cruise? We had planned on it but all of these people on the DIS with their "don't go during Easter" posts are scaring me. I know it's a holiday weekend and it will be really crowded. I'm expecting that. Our kids are up really early anyway, so we'll get there early for EMH on Friday. But I'm still nervous thinking about it! Oh well. A crowded day in Disney is better than a day of working, right? :cool2:
