Hi, everyone! - We're 2nd time Disney Cruisers, first time 'Disney Meeters' - My family and I went on the Disney Wonder this past April and LOVED it. My niece (jeni37) and sister-in-law (lindafish) are on this cruise as well (hi, guys!) - is there anything in particular I need to do to join the group? We're also looking to get a fish extender for our kids for this trip - Is there anything we need to do to join that group as well? Or just get a fish extender and go? We saw all the FE's on our last trip and thought it was such a great idea!

I have read thru past posts as well - what an excellent forum to trade info!

Has anyone set up a link or other computer means for the tweens to starting "cyber chatting" before the cruise yet? DD(currently 12) Gabby asked me today. She's getting the Dream Bug already.

Hi everyone!

It is so great to see a very active thread! I am new to Disboards, as I just discovered it. I am coming out of the closet right away and state : I am an addict to cruise planning sites! So far, I was only a "cruise critic addict", but now, I am going to add "Disboard addict" to my title . Reading 33 pages of previous posts makes me think i am not the only one...

- that is how i looked for the last 6 hours .

Ness... - please add us to your list: myself, Yelena, DH, Vadim, and DD, Katya (9 (10 at the time of the cruise). Our son is 19 and in College, having different spring break schedule . , but may be he will join us for the part of our cruise...
Steph - may be he should talk to your daughter and it would help him make his decision.

We would love to participate in FE, please add us in. We sailed with DCL twice (spring breaks of 2008 and 2009), but we did not see FE at that time.
This idea is so exciting to us! I am already thinking of possible gifts.
Somebody mentioned getting a few FE bags. Is one for family OK, or it should be one per person?

Our cabin is 8100, and we are doing b2b with 4/14. I see a lot of people have booked on decks 7, 9, 10. So far, i did not see anybody mentioning their cabins on deck 8. Should I be aware of something???

We are so excited and can hardly wait! Disboards are my drugs that keep me high and excited in anticipation of upcoming vacation :

Last time we stayed at Radisson at Port Canaveral. They provide a free shuttle to and from the port and free long-term parking (7 nights parking = great saving if you drive to FL). Hotel is very nice. We are planning to stay there for a night again. If you decide to book with them - make sure you book "cruise package" and call a few days in advance to reserve shuttle time.


PS- I wanted to include a link this Hotel's site and links with updates from DREAM, but Disboards do not allow it until i make 10 posts.... I will hurry up and try to achieve my "10 posts" quickly

Not yet. As mentioned earlier, my DD doesn't know about the cruise yet. However, you all don't have to wait to start on her account. She can always join in later. She just learned last Thursday about our WDW trip on the 24th.

Glad to see you here! My group all have cabins on deck 8. You will see us listed on the fe exchange. It will be our first DCL cruise, but part of our group sailed recently and loved it so we decided to give it a try.

No need to post a link to the Radisson website, it should be listed in the FAQ sticky on the main boards. It's it's not, a search will turn up lots of threads with the info.
Also, many people have been booking the Country Inn & Suites thru Priceline for around $60 (including taxes) and then it's around $20 for parking and the shuttle. I believe breakfast is also included at this hotel. There are plenty of threads out there with the booking information to get the hotel for this price thru Priceline, do a search and they will turn up for you.

Hello! and Welcome aboard! Sure, tell him a five foot 11, slim, brunette cutie is going on the cruise! LOL She is pretty popular these days...attended two proms in one month..none of them hers My husband was so patient about those proms but both boys are very nice good friends of hers. LOL

We will also being doing the Fish Extenders...I need to pm my information.

I am also cruising the Mex. DCL next Jan. with my sister and our little boys...very busy with all the planning.

Looks like we have a great group and looking forward to meeting everyone!

, i will tell him, lol; I just checked his spring calendar - it does not look good . We went on a cruise without him this spring break, and it did not feel right... Is your daughter going to College next yr? Will she have the same spring break schedule?

We are from NY and we are planning on driving to FL. Is anybody else thinking of driving instead of flying?

We may be driving, we live in DE. Gotta get thru the trips in the next 6 weeks before we start thinking about this one too much.
Plus we'll probably be driving down Thanksgiving week and Christmas week. Also will be driving back next month, flying down tomorrow. So that won't be too bad just driving one way.
