Hi everyone, this will be our first Disney Cruise now that our son (7 yo) is old enough to understand and appreciate it. My wife and I have been on cruises before but this will be our first Disney cruise and with our son. We've been to Disney World and Disneyland so it is obvious we're big Disney fans so we're super excited about his trip and we want to make the best of it. So this prompted me to do some research on what to expect and it lead me to a video on YouTube from Gnome Queen (shout out to fellow New Jerseyian) who got me here. In that respect we want to take advantage of something I learned from her that a lot of Disney cruise guests do which is decorate the door and do the "Fish Extenders" gift exchange thing. So if you'll be on board with us please join and we look forward to the exchange and possibly meeting you. BTW, we're from NJ and plan to drive down to Port Canaveral and we've reserved stateroom #9060. Since this will be our first Disney cruise we would appreciate any tips, tricks, or any info/advice you Disney cruise veterans are willing to offer.

Fish extenders are new to us, too. From what I can gather those who participate put some kind of pockets for each person in their cabin by the door.

Hello everyone!! 81 days and counting til we set sail! This is my second cruise with my husband and two children, but a first for my brother and his family. I can't wait!! :smickey:

Hey! This will be our first cruise. My husband; two boys (8 & 9) and I are excited! I’m also looking for some Info on fish extenders- specifically, how to get signed up.
Second- I’ve heard mixed reviews about Nassau. Is it worth doing any activities here, or are we better off enjoying the ship? Thanks!

We booked our cruise though Costco and they provided a site with a different excursion company that's a lot cheaper than going through the cruise and they have a lot of pretty decent ones. We may take advantage of one of those. Either that or we'll just hang out by the beach.
