so its been awhile since ive been on the dis. havnt been able to make it down the wdw in awhile, but im doing the happy dance once again. just booked for april 15-21, never been there this time of year and was wondering what the crowds and weather might be like.. thanks

Weather will be quite lovely. Crowds will be thick. Use rope drop and take midday break.

We went that week before; the weather was glorious, if a bit rainy. Crowds back then weren't bad, but nowadays it seems like any time you visit will be pretty crowded. Oh well, enjoy!

I went during that time frame about 2 years ago when Easter was also at the beginning of April I loved it. A majority of the not headliner rides only had short waits (the signs would say 20 mins but my friend and I joked that the wait time was just the amount of time it would take you to walk through the lines). Weather was nice, warm enough to wear shorts and go on the water rides but not to hot. The nights were a little cooler where I could do with a light jacket but not mandatory.

Yeah, I'm not sure if GovieMom went when it was Eastertime...but I was there in 2013 around the same time and the parks were not busy at all...and we will be checking in on the 16th this year as well .

I COMPLETELY agree. I have been 3-6x/year for the last ten years and TRULY there is no *slow* or low crowd time as there used to be even 2-3 years ago.

I went last week of April in 2013 and it was very manageable. In 2014, one week later (first Saturday-Wednesday in May) and Holy Cow!!!

The first (full) week in December used to be all but empty. This year at DHS headliners had 70-90 min waits at 11:00 am!
