hi everyone. i was in walgreens today and was able to purchase 18 containers of bubbles. im going to bring them to the sailaway party for all of us to enjoy. 20 days

Today was my last weekend at work!! Now I know we are getting closer to the trip! I just love watching my hula girl down the strip. I still need to lighten the load of my suitcase though- any thoughts out there?

ummm.. you could take another suitcase or ship a box ahead of time to the ship.

Sounds like a good idea. I have a new motto now- if I don't pack it than I can just buy more once we get there. I don't want to do laundry on my vacation either!

My DW packs for 2 weeks, I know that 80% of the time I'm in a swimsuit so I pack very light. Maybe you should send us a package Mary. Although we're fussy and bring our pillows. I've slept on the same one for 30 yrs now. 18 DAYS, thats close

I am really trying to decide between magens bay and sapphire beach. I am booked thru DCL for megans bay but am rethinking it.. what is the taxi to and from w/o DCL and costs??


also I know that alot of you are going to Orient beach have any of you done pinel island??

We are doing Orient Beach on our own. The only reason we are not doing it through DCL is because I didn't really want to sit on the beach for a specific time period. I may want to go and do some shopping or exploring. My DH only wants to do Orient Beach and I think everyone can guess why. I know he will be disappointed with the "view", but I will enjoy my girly drink and the beach.

We are doing Megans Bay on our own at St Thomas

And we are trying Galion Beach beach on you own at St Martin -

Oreint Beach had large waves last time we went, and our kids prefer the calmness of Galion beach (very similar to Megan's Bay), plus Galion has a great waterside restaurant (ChezPat) with all sorts of food available - Orient's restaurant had a chicken dish that my kids did not eat at all

Galion beach was just voted best St Martin beach to take kids

My Docs arrived today and I got them from my TA!!!!!!! Yippee!!

I did online check in too but I still got the Bahamas doc, luggage tags, transfer docs, TA paperwork, disney checklist and paperwork. No contract and no payment info to sign since I did them online.

Just happy to get my so called docs lol hehe

Been very busy with my Father, he comes home from rehab tomorrow, I got a hospital bed in his room yesterday, and making arrangements for home care twice a day. It's so sad seeing him getting weaker. I cleaned his room, couldn't believe how dirty, I fired the cleaning woman on the spot. I've scheduled someone to come in from 7am to 9 am to get him up, cleaned and fed, they will fix lunch and leave it for him, them come back at 5pm feed him and get him to bed, scary. I just don't want him in a Nursing home.

Hopefully I will get my docs today, can't wait. Hopefully we'll get to do our b2b in Oct, Just have to put it in God's hands 15 DAYS

We feel for you, we have gone through this with both of DW's parents. DW is a nurse so she ended up doing alot herself along with her DSis. It takes a toll on all involved. Hopefully everything will work out for your family and you will be able to get what I am sure will be much needed relaxation on the cruise.

We got our docs Yesterday so you should get yours soon.
