April 11th 2009 Magic Eastern Easter cruise--UPDATED WITH ROLL CALL PG 1

Kelli - I just watched Samantha Brown's Great Weekends on the Travel Channel and this time she was in Orlando. She went to Sky Ventures and did the indoor skydiving. How cool! You and your boys are going to have a great time! My DD's are jealous!

Is everyone all packed!? I started making "piles" of clean clothes all over my room! Yeeha! Love packing for six people!!

We are having Easter brunch Sunday morning with my family and then going to our church's Easter egg hunt. Then I have a brownie meeting so Saturday will have to be a productive day! After soccer games, PACK!!!!!

I don't think I can get my family to wear matching anything. I have no idea what we will be wearing to the port! But here's what to look for..we are all short, my two oldest DD's are taller than me (by an inch or two). My DD's are about 5'0" and 5'1"...I have no idea where they got the "height" from!!! DH is about 5'6".

Yup, it's coming down to the wire! Hope everyone is feeling well and is not too stressed out!

We don't have a Home Depot in our area. Could someone scan the paint chip and post it so that I can see the color. Also, please let me know what size it is. I will then pull some scrapbook paper and make one.

I did a TON of packing today. Still have no idea how I am going to get everything into two suitcases and two garmet bags. Dh has one suitcase to himself.

Single digit!! We are getting so close!
We bought the paint chips.....Wow thats truly green. I dont think anyone would miss that color! Also the FE came today!! Everything is coming together perfectly. Slowly packing is getting finished. We don't have matching outfits either but im sure we wil spot you all. We are planning to be at the meets, we just don't know forsure. We are going to play it by ear. sdzm - If you PM me your address, I can drop one of these paint chips in the mail today. You should get it by Monday at the latest. (Or I can PM you my email address....) We were planning on another meet at 3pm for those who are coming in later. It will be at the Promenade Lounge on Deck 3, if you're interested.

Hi everyone, just looking over my docs a little closer today...exactly what did you guys get in yours? We are driving, so I didn't expect any airline tix or anything but there doesn't really seem to be anything that looks super important in the booklet we got...we have a mailing info page, DCL/DME transportation ticket (which we are not using), important info pages, transfer purchase option ticket, onboard airline check-in pages (again, not using these)...there's nothing like a boarding pass, etc. Oh, I also have luggage tags, the flyer about the Easter baskets, and a checklist. Am I missing anything? I wouldn't even know it if I was since I am a newbie to this so I thought I would check with you guys

I was hoping to get a lot of packing done today but it's spring party day at DD's school and I am going in to help. Maybe this weekend I can knock some of it out...I hope so! I am SO stressed!

Question, I saw a couple of you mention lanyards. Do they hand out lanyards to everyone? or just certain people? or do you have to purchase them?

Thank you Willie! I needed someone to tell me to relax!!! That's the last thing I feel like I've been able to do lately...it seems like a real contradiction that getting ready for vacation is stressing me out!

Yes, I am talking about a nudist's cruise! I think we were docked next to them at Cozumel like 12 years ago...they all were required to stay inside while docked and if they went outside or ashore, they did have to dress...whew! I'll never forget it

Well, off to DD's spring party at school then home to more packing! We are leaving in just 5 days! Lots to do...okay, I'm getting worked up again...need to keep thinking "stay calm, stay calm..."

We are booked on Magic for April 11 cruise. We are traveling with 3 DD ages 8, 10, and 11. This will be DH 2nd DCL cruise but 1 st on Magic, 10 yr old dd 2nd DCL cruise, dd 11 10 DCL cruise and dd 8 first ever cruise (adopted from Ukraine). Always have fun with Disney and lookign forward to another fun cruise.

Wheee! My morning appointment cancelled on me and I have nothing else scheduled until 6 this evening...I'm about to put on some Bob Marley (to get into the island spirit) and start packing! Good thing too...today is DS's last school day before spring break. Hopefully I will be able to get a lot done today, before the distractions of "Mom...Mom...Mom" begin.

Our sailaway outfits arrived yesterday and they look great. Wouldn't it be funny if we all picked matching patterns?

One week to go....thanks for the reminder to relax Big Willie!!! The packing will get done and we will all make it to enjoy the DOTD!!! We hope to meet everyone at the 3 pm meet! I got my "paint chip" ready today at work. My DIS name is on it...I used two paint chips and wrote my name on both...cut them out and glued them together and then bribbed one of our assistants with candy and she laminated it for me....Looks great!!

Tonight I am going out for a girls' night and then the rest of the weekend is devoted to preparing for the trip!!

So let me to you how excited I became today that we sail in one week....

I got up this morning, brewed my morning coffee as I do everyday, and sleeply looked outside. Do you know what I saw? SNOW! Yes it is snowing in Buffalo today and infact it is beginning to accumulate. Our weather has just been unreal lately. 24 hours ago it was in the upper 50s!!!

Needless to say my excitement level just jumped 100% (if it was possible to be more excited). Let the serious packing begin!!!!!

Hello, all!

I just found this Forum and can't wait to read all the posts!

My DS (age 16), DD (age 14) and I will be on the April 11 Magic sailing. I'm trying to find the time/location of the meet & greet and also the info on what type of sailaway outfit people are wearing.

But I'm headed to Home Depot today for my paint chips, LOL!

We are from the Fredericksburg VA area and will stay the night before at the MCO Hyatt Regency.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
