I am still fairly new to the DisBoards and didn't realize there was a "color". I am glad I asked!! Lime green it is! I will hit the Depot this week.

I will do my best to meet at 3:00. I really would love to meet you all! Where should we meet? Is there a certain spot DISers usually meet?

The snow melted throughout the day....it is suppose to be back in the 50s tomorrow. I hope we don't get sick with this crazy change in temps we are having here. It makes it even more exciting to leave....warm weather for many days in a row....sounds like a dream!!!!!

I love the paint chip idea too!!! I will put Home Depot on my list of places to stop. Are we getting a certain color or doesn't it matter? I will put it on my bag.

It is lime green -- it is the one that is distinctly lime green, but if they don't have them, get any light, bright green. I don't know officially what they call that color of paint (alien something??!), but once I make it to Home Depot I will post it. I can't imagine that anyone would actually PAINT something that color, but it does make it handy for the DIS!

I just went to Home Depot and got the paint chips! The actual name of the color is Alien Green! I grabbed some extras so if anyone doesn't have a chance to pick one up, I'll have some. I am going to attach it to my camera bag which I'll always have with me!

Who will be leaving for Port Canaveral/Orlando first? We are leaving Thurs. night, the 9th. Some of you (Kelli) are doing a stay at WDW first, right? Lucky ducks!!!!

We are leaving a week from tomorrow on the 8th. We are flying Jet Blue out of Boston. We will be staying at the Coronado Springs Resort at Disney for three nights. We are only going to the parks on the 9th. On the 10th we are hanging by the resort pool and going indoor skydiving at SkyVentures in orlando. The kids have been wanting to try it out and I thought it would be something different to do that hopefully won't be too crowded. We have a limo picking us up at 9am Saturday morning to bring us to the port! I feel really unorganized. I have to start packing. I don't know how I am going to pack us all in 5 bags that don't weigh over 50 pounds!!!

Can't wait to meet all of you!!

I have some of those Mickey heads too from Home Depot and I'm pretty sure I have that Alien Green color! How are you guys going to attach them to your bags? Are you going to cut out the head or leave it on the card? Are you going to laminate, etc?

I feel a little better in my preps than I did a few days ago. Just got back from my friend's house in Blowing Rock for a girls' weekend then stopped at my in-laws on Lake Norman to visit on the way back and was pretty panicked when I got back home about all I had left to do! Well...

I've gotten alot of DD's clothes washed and pressed. I put together outfits and then put each outfit in a plastic ziploc bag. I seem to be able to fit more in the bag by doing that and it will also help in choosing outfits for each day!

I've also put together a few outfits for myself but I have a lot more work to do on that score. DH still has some clothes shopping to do! Ack!

We're stopping in St. Augustine on the way down so maybe any last minute clothing purchases can be taken care of at the outlets - let's hope so

Going to Home Depot today!

We are going to St. Augustine for 2 nights and then Port Canaveral one night before the cruise. We are also planning to go to Orlando for one night after the cruise to visit step-DD...her prom is on the 18th and so it would be fun to see her dressed up for that!

We live just north of Orlando and our boys ages 9 and 12 did SkyVenture for their birthdays in December. It was a once in a lifetime experience and they absolutely loved it! You may want to call when you get into town to reserve a time to fly. Welcome to Florida in advance!

Kelli - I feel your pain with the luggage...how in the world will we keep them under 50 lbs. I am worried that I will think I have them under 50 lbs and then get to the airport and their scale be so off of mine that they will say they weigh more! I get worried about the stupidest things though!!!

I like the idea of putting our DIS names on the paint sample...great idea!!!!

So, unfortunately I think I am the last to leave for the cruise. Our flight leaves Buffalo at 6:10 on the 11th. We have a layover in Atlanta and arrive to Orlando at 11:30. We are staying in Orlando after the cruise and flying home the 19th. So at least we get an extra day there.

So sorry to hear about the snow up north. I'm tired of the rain down here. A day of sun, a day of rain. A day of sun, five days of rain. Our grass is now a foot high and it hasn't dried out long enough to cut it. I can't wait for sun and clear skies, sitting by the pool, having a drink.

I got my FE today. Woohoo. Going to start packing, but gotta do it so the kids don't see. Secret is still going strong. Hope it hangs on.

We are driving down early Friday and hope to be at the hotel by 3 or 4 so that we can enjoy the pool for awhile. It looks really cool. I'll have the green mickey on my pool bag so keep an eye out and I'll look for you all too.

Tomorrow we will be able to see the 10 day forecast showing sailing day.

Sadly, I have NO idea what it means to PM you. I'm still learning how to use the neato emotion symbols! Anyway, my husband's name is James and he just turned 40 ....I'm Wendy (36) and my kids are Robby (12) and Kirk (9). Does that help for roll call? This is our third Disney cruise. (2005 Western Carribean, 2007 3 Night Bahamas) We have been to WDW lots of times as my husband worked on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom during college. So...if you have any other questions, we might be able to help. Most important advice...PACK SUNSCREEN!!! You don't know how many tourists we've seen scorched by the sun. Anyway, THANK YOU.

So apparently Had2DisneyCruz did NOT clean out our Home Depot -- at least not yet. I was able to snag some of the lime green Mickey heads from the paint section. I'll put my DIS name on them and affix them on my bag. Not sure exactly how yet. I may laminate them. When I went in to get them, I got all giggly and excited, thinking -- "We're gonna cruise! We're gonna cruise! It's real! It's almost here!" (Then I got panicked again because I am so far from being ready!)
My dds also took some of the ones in other colors. They want to decorate their school binders with them.

Grumpymom73 - Bragger! Ok, now I will become a grumpy mom since we have a really long ride to FLA! We will be at the Radisson by 4pm-ish on Friday. I stopped by Home Depot tonight and picked up five paint samples so if someone doesn't get one, I have extra too. I'll write my Dis name on it and put it on my pool bag (which also has our last name on it in purple stitching) and I think I'll put one on my lanyard. I am just going to punch a hole in it and hang it.

My new luggage arrived today. It is really nice....and RED!!! I'm going to start packing tomorrow!
