Cast: Me-LeiLani(40), DH-Rich(41), DD-Brittany(15) aka Dale, DD's friend-Brittney (15) aka Chip, & DD-Alyssa(8). Cabin 8030 Walt's Suite. Our 4th cruise, Brittney's 1st cruise.
Also joining us are: FIL-Charles(PaPa) & MIL-Pat(Nanny). Cabin 6048 and their 1st DCL cruise.
Friday Castaway Cay
It was finally Castaway Cay Day. YEAH!!!!!
It was a little cold out but the weather was nice. Rich & Charles had booked the Seahorse Snorkel
and Chip & Dale were parasailing. I left the ship as soon as we could get off so I could find some chairs with an umbrella for Pat. Once I found a place I went back to the tram stop to meet Pat and Alyssa. Alyssa swam and played in the sand for a while but the water was cold.
I went to mail our post cards and met up with Rich & Charles as their excursion was getting done. The said the snorkel trip was great but not meant for non-swimmers or younger kids that are not strong swimmers. They said the reef was really nice but it was rough out there and the current was bad. There were some people on the excursion that got off the boat and then immediately got right back on because it was so rough. The girls really enjoyed parasailing even though they could only go up 250ft instead of 500 ft because of the wind. Alyssa went to Scuttles Cove for the scavenger hunt,
which she said, was a lot of fun. We had lunch at Cookies and then Rich & I went to Serenity Bay for about an hour. Chip & Dale were hanging at the teen beach.
We had to pick Alyssa up at 3pm (the clubs close on the beach and move back to the ship) so she could shower and be in the lab to practice for the kids show, Discover the Magic. It was great as usual and we saw several slides of Alyssa. We headed back to the cabin to so some final packing and to get ready for dinner. Again, Jeff had our pizzas for us and then after dinner Rich had requested chocolate soufflés for everyone, so we really enjoyed those. I savored my last soufflé until Christmas and Chip & Dale finally got to try a chocolate soufflé.
Okay, here is where Dale does her thing again. At dinner Brittany(Dale) had on a light blue short skirt. (skirt is from Abercrombie & Fitch so that should tell you about the length) After dinner she was in the cabin packing up last minute stuff. While she was on the floor looking for something, Chip looks up and GASP Brittany(Dale) are you wearing any underwear?
Yes, my darling teenager went to dinner on the last evening in a very short skirt and no underwear. Rich(DAD) was flabbergasted, How do you wear a short skirt with no underwear and not realize it". We couldnt believe it. I guess it was a good thing she did not bend over at dinner. Then again what do I know, she was sitting on the opposite side of the table from me. Kids you gotta love them.
After going to the cabin to set out our bags and fill out the paperwork, Rich and I met about 10 other DISers in Diversions for the British Pub night. You have to see this if you get the chance. It is hilarious.

It starts out slow, but the final skit put on by the CMs is so funny I thought I was going to pee my pants. After it was over Rich went to get Alyssa while I took pictures and talked with the other DISers. It was time to turn and Chip and Dale had actually come in early for once.
