Just wanted to remind everyone that most of the "cruising tips" out there were started when
DCL consisted of just the Magic and Wonder. There are things on the Magic and Wonder that aren't on the Dream, and vice-versa. I quickly skimmed through the link above and wanted to point out some of the differences:
-The Dream has actual refrigerators, not cooling boxes.

-The Dream has one electrical outlet beside the bed.
-The Dream's bed is set higher than on the other ships, so all luggage will easily fit underneath.
-The Dream doesn't have the oval coffee table that could be raised/lowered instead, it has a chest-like table with extra storage inside.
-The Dream has queen-sized beds, and it's reported that they cannot be separated into twin beds.
-Hair braiding on the Dream is on deck 11 not deck 9.
-Concierge stateroom doors on the Dream are not magnetic.
-No tape at all is allowed anywhere in or around your stateroom anymore. It was causing too much damage. Magnets, only, may be used.
-I believe they don't stock those little cereal boxes anymore. Cereal is dispensed from larger containers. You could probably bring some sandwich baggies if you'd like to take cereal to snack on later.
-Drink station is on deck 11 on the Dream.
-I don't think there will be a Character Breakfast on our 4-night sailing. Those are usually only on the 7-night and longer itineraries.
-Cove Cafe is on deck 11 on the Dream.
-Diversions is only on the Magic and Wonder. The Dream has D Lounge and The District... not sure which one has the equivalent to Diversions, though.
-Goofy's Galley/Scoops is Eye Scream on the Dream.
-Lumiere's/Tritons is Royal Palace on the Dream.
-Parrot Cay is Enchanted Garden on the Dream.
-Topsiders/Beach Blanket is Cabana's on the Dream.
-Pinocchio's Pizzeria is Luigi's Pizza on the Dream.
-Pluto's Dog House is Tow-Mater's grill on the Dream.
-Preludes, Rockin' Bar D/Wavebands, are all part of The District on the Dream.
-No Sessions/Cadillac Lounge on the Dream.
-Flounder's Reef is It's a Small World Nursery on the Dream.
-I don't think the kids' clubs do a "graduation ceremony" on stage anymore.
-Shutters photos are displayed in "books" on the Dream, so "stacking photos" is not necessary anymore.
-The Deck 4 Galley window is only on the Magic and Wonder.
-The carpet on the Dream does not have red/blue anchors. It has a globe where north point forward and south points aft.
-There is no secret aft deck 7 location on the Dream.
-2 and 1/2 laps on the walking deck equals one mile.
-I don't believe Guest Services has the Mickey Challenge Sheet on any of the ships anymore.
-The laundry does not take quarters anymore - just your KTTW card.
