We are cruising October 23-27. We are taking Disney transport from the port to GF. What time do you think we can expect to be at GF? I’m trying to decide what’s realistic for making a lunch ADR that day. We have early seating so we’ll have the first breakfast.

Not sure about the bus, but we drive from the port to boardwalk most cruises and it takes about 1 hour or less. With the bus, you don’t know where you are in the multiple stops the bus makes.

What time do you think you will be disembarking? I would add 2 to 2 1/2 hours or more to that time for an ADR - that should give you plenty of time for waiting for the bus to leave, multiple stops, etc.

We usually get off the ship at 7:30, then we grab our luggage and walk over to the parking garage. We usually pull out about 8 and get there by 9

I think we got to the resort around 9:30ish. We grabbed food in the buffet and walked off early, instead of the sit down breakfast.

When using Disney transport from your cruise back to your Disney resort you will not have time for the main dining room breakfast. I went to the earliest “buffet” breakfast to get out to my assigned bus on time. As soon as our bus was full we left the port. I was at Old Key West resort at 9:55am.

I thought Disney transport didn't leave until 9am at the earliest, so an hour to 2 hours after that, depending upon traffic and in what order the hotel drop off occurs. I guess the bus could leave earlier if they aren't waiting for anyone, but there could be people who have 2nd seating that are going to GF too. We had to wait until 9:30 or later before our bus left, because they were waiting on a family that was taking a long time. The buses to MCO leave the minute they are full, but the hotel buses don't leave until everyone scheduled to be on that bus is there. You will have time to eat breakfast in the MDR for first seating. The bus won't leave without. I would do MDR breakfast. If you rush to get out there, you could still be waiting for another family who has 2nd dinner.

What's the earliest flight you would take from MCO after a cruise then if you are catching a bus?

DCL says 11:25am. If you have to check a bag, I'd add some time, as I've seen some reallllly long lines to check luggage at MCO recently. And if you don't have PreCheck, add time for that as well (or do Clear or get a TSA 'reservation' at MCO).

Honestly, 11:25 out of MCO would make me a little nervous, just because MCO can be quite the cluster at times.

You can reasonably expect to arrive at your hotel by 12 noon. Maybe earlier, but not later unless something crazy happens.

10-11 would be a safe window if you get off the ship by 8:00ish

We've always been back at the resort by 10.30am-11am and in the parks by midday.
