My cousin was just diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and after many recommendations she bought a pair of chacos. She said and I quote "their ugly but they work"

She also had to stop doing her Mommy Bootcamp classes for awhile and do slow walking & work up to a more brisk walk. And of course had to do her stretches- it's been a few months and she said that a combo of all those things has really improved things. Good luck!
