Appropriate shoes for the park,Merrell, flip flops??

Sorry, I did not take the time to ready every page but on one of our recent trips my mom had brought a stick of chaffing cream, I will call it, by Band Aid. Its in the section with corn pads, heel inserts, etc. It was a turquoise blue rectangle tube container. It was a lifesaver. I would just rub that on my hot spots. Worked like magic and I will take it every time from now on.

Oh and I have found flip flops are for me. My feet get too hot in tennis shoes. My girfriend swear by Tevas and I think I will purchase a pair next trip.

My cousin was just diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and after many recommendations she bought a pair of chacos. She said and I quote "their ugly but they work" She also had to stop doing her Mommy Bootcamp classes for awhile and do slow walking & work up to a more brisk walk. And of course had to do her stretches- it's been a few months and she said that a combo of all those things has really improved things. Good luck!:goodvibes

Thanks! If I'm diagnosed with plantar fasciitis I'll definitely look into the ugly Chacos. :lmao: If I can find shoes that get rid of or improve my heel pain, I don't care how they look!
